Jiggs began in 2005 when Jeanette and Karen put each of their 15 years of hairdressing experience into their life-long dream. With a combined skill set from their previous positions in top city salons, Jeanette and Karen were well equipped to create a very successful hair salon that Jiggs has become. Their passion for precision cutting techniques and knowledge transfer has positioned Jiggs as one of the most popular hair and beauty salons in Solihull. A bouncy blowdry should last longer than the journey home✨
One of the biggest things we here is “my hair never holds a bouncy blowdry”, but what alot of people dont know is it all comes down to the aftercare! How you look after it at home makes all the difference in how long it lasts.
Here are my top tips to make your blowdry last longer:
✨Sleep with your hair in a loose bun or heatless curls
✨Use a silk pillowcase or bonnet to reduce the friction on your hair during the night which creates the frizz
✨Avoid steam from hot showers/baths
✨Don’t overload your hair with oils or heavy products
✨Ask to leave with pin curls which can be taken out at home so the curl is set in shape for longer
✨Refresh with velcro rollers or a round brush
A salon blowdry is made to last, so make the most out of it and enjoy it for as long as possible 🤍
