good afternoon everyone ❤️
with summer coming up and hopefully lots of nice weather we thought we would give you all some tips to keeping your skin looking and feeling healthy and fresh 🥰

• wash your face 2-3 times a day to keep it clean and sweat free and apply moisturiser (ALWAYS WITH SPF!!)
• try avoid makeup or keep it as minimal as possible to stop clogging up your pores
• a hydrating spray/setting spray or mask is always going to be your friend
• using spf daily protects your skin, helps with wrinkles and protects any moles or freckles
• lip balm always ! this helps your lips from drying out, again a lip balm with spf is even better
• drink plenty water & keep hydrated
• using skin scrubs or exfoliators is great for removing any dirt and build up, but please remember your skin could be sensitive after so use moisturiser or do it at nighttime once your out the sun
• toners/masks and moisturisers with cucumber or aloe vera are great for cooling the skin
• the skin around your eyes is a lot thinner, sunglasses are not only a great accessory but help protect your skin also!
• avoid hot water/showers and baths, this can fry your skin out a lot during the warmer months
• try let your skin breathe as much as possible, loose clothing is great to stop you over heating, sweating and keeping you cool

unfortunately no appointments are being taken as the salon is still closed due to the leak.
the flooring has been lifted and there was more water damage than thought and it is still drying out. we will be needing a new roof put up and the walls fixed once it is all completely dry.

some do’s and dont’s to keep your skin clean,fresh and glowing !

•do wear an spf/sunscreen daily !
•don’t forget to moisturise
•do load up on antioxidants and fuel yourself with good food
•don’t sleep with makeup on
•do remember to be patient and find the right products for your skin type - everyone is different
•don’t pick/pop any spots or blemishes
•do drink plenty of water
•don’t use any scented/strong products that could cause irritation to your skin

What’s the difference between the 3 types of REVOLAX filler we stock? 👄

REVOLAX Fine - this is the most lightweight dermal filler within the range. this is the best filler for superficial lines, including crow’s feet, glabellar lines and neck wrinkles, and is also a popular choice for the Russian lip technique. Fine is the thinnest dermal filler out of the three and usually lasts between 9 – 12 months with correct aftercare.

REVOLAX Deep - this is a thicker and longer-lasting gel developed for the treatment of deep wrinkles, nasolabial folds, non-surgical rhinoplasty, and augmentation of the cheeks, chin, and lips. REVOLAX Deep is slightly thicker than Fine but not as thick as Sub-Q and usually lasts between 12 – 18 months.

REVOLAX Sub-Q - this is the thickest within the product line. With its advanced ability to mould & maintain structure – Sub-Q is recommended for treatment of deep-sized wrinkles including nasolabial. This dermal filler works best for cheek, chin, nose, and jawline augmentation as this requires a thicker substance to fill. this usually lasts between 12-18 months with correct aftercare.

the salon is still currently not open, we have had someone come out to check the damage and are working on getting back to work as soon as possible. currently the whole roof is down, the flooring is having to be lifted and also a new wall will be needing put in due to the water damage. i will keep you all updated as much as possible & looking forward to seeing you all when it is safe to do so.

Further to our recent post, we are excited to release some more details.

The new salon "GorgeousHQ" will be based in Commercial Street, Kirkcaldy and only Mya will be working from there.

The salon has scope for an additional beauty therapist / lash or nail technician to rent a room. More details on this will follow.

Mya is hoping to launch on Thursday 13th April and will be taking appointments by messaging on WhatsApp 07770 963963. This phone will be active during business hours so please be patient for your replies.
