📢 FINALIST UPDATE – WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Firstly, congratulations to all of our finalists! 🎉

We’ve had lots of questions about the next stages, so we’ve put together a simple guide explaining what happens from here, depending on the option you’ve chosen.

🏆 If you’ve paid to compete:
✅ You’ll receive your official Finalist Badge after the finalist announcement at the end of June.
✅ You’ll then receive a supporting evidence form to complete at the end of June via email.
✅ Our judges will review all submissions.
✅ Winners of Bronze, Silver and Gold will be announced during our Online Awards Ceremony.

⭐ If you’ve chosen to remain a finalist:
✅ You’ll receive your official Finalist Badge after the finalist announcement at the end of June.
✅ No supporting evidence is required. Nothing further to do.
✅ You can proudly celebrate and promote your finalist achievement.

📣 You are welcome to start announcing and promoting your finalist status from now if you wish. We love seeing our finalists celebrate their achievement! Official finalist badges will be issued following the finalist announcement at the end of June.

📅 Finalists will be officially announced at the end of June, with further information sent shortly afterwards.

FINALIST IS THE START.
WINNING IS THE GOAL 🙌🏻

Being named a FINALIST means your business has been recognised by judges and successfully passed the first stage of the competition.

However, official winning titles are only awarded to businesses that proceed forward to compete for:

🥉 BRONZE
🥈 SILVER
🥇 GOLD

All finalists will be officially announced at the end of June.

Following the announcements, finalist badges will be issued to those who selected and paid for them, and supporting evidence forms will then be sent to all competing finalists.

Becoming a finalist in The British Hair & Beauty Awards is already an incredible achievement, and every finalist should feel proud of how far they’ve come. 🖤🏆

We also want to be fully transparent about the next stage of the competition.

From reviewing applications and shortlisting, to administration, marketing and creating promotional opportunities for finalists, a huge amount of work goes into every stage of the awards process behind the scenes.

Choosing to continue in the awards process is completely optional, and finalists should never feel pressured to proceed. The continuation fee helps support the ongoing running costs of the awards programme and the finalist experience moving forward.

For those who do choose to continue, all entries are judged fairly and independently based on merit, talent and the judging criteria. Progressing to Bronze, Silver or Gold is never influenced by payment and cannot be purchased.

We’d also like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has already chosen to continue in the awards and support what we do. Your support allows us to continue recognising, rewarding and showcasing some of the very best talent within the hair and beauty industry - an industry we are incredibly passionate about, just like yourselves. ❤️

Receiving your results email does NOT confirm your status.
You must complete the form within 72 hours of receiving our email.

⭐ To compete for Bronze, Silver or Gold in the Online Ceremony, payment must also be completed within the 72 hours.

If you wish to remain an Official Finalist, you must still complete the form to secure your place.

As results are being sent in stages, we kindly ask for your patience if you have not yet received your email. Please continue to monitor your inbox and junk/spam folders closely - your result could arrive very soon.

A little update for you…

Firstly, a huge thank you to everyone who has taken part in The British Beauty Awards 2026 - the response this year has been incredible, and we truly appreciate every single enrolment.

We are now in the process of reviewing all business enrolment forms.
As soon as your business has been reviewed, you will receive an email with your results.

Please don’t worry if you see other businesses receiving results before you - all entries are being reviewed in the order they were received, so timings will vary.

All finalists will be celebrated together in one official announcement in June (date to be confirmed).
However, successful businesses will be notified by email first, ahead of the public announcement.

When the finalists are announced, if your business is not included, this means it has not progressed to the finalist stage. As mentioned from the outset, not every entry will become a finalist, as all submissions are judged on merit and overall standards.

If you would like to double-check that your enrolment was received correctly, you are welcome to contact us after the finalist announcement.

In the meantime, please make sure to check your junk/spam folders, as important emails can sometimes land there.

As our offices are closed over Easter, no work will be carried out on enrolments during this time anyway… so we’ve decided to give you a final opportunity.

👉 Enrolment has been extended until 12th April (Midnight).
Our offices will be closed until 12th April too.

We’ve had quite a few of you ask after missing the deadline, so this gives you the chance to take your time and get your entry in properly.

Just to be clear this will NOT be extended again.

After 12th April, enrolment will close completely.

So while you’re relaxing this Easter…
maybe take a break from the chocolate and get your entry submitted ✔️
