🎉 THE MEDI-SHED 2.0 IS 2 YEARS OLD 🎉

💖Remember when I opened a medical aesthetics clinic in a garden shed? (not any ol shed thou!listed😉)

💖Turns out it wasn’t completely ridiculous…

💖Over a decade ago, The Medi-Shed started life in an actual garden shed at the bottom of my garden. The name wasn’t clever branding it was simply stating the obvious.

💖Fast forward over 12 years, and today marks two years since The Medi-Shed 2.0 opened its doors at 81 Nightingale Lane SW12

💖The Shed has evolved, the treatment menu has evolved, the technology has evolved.

💖But what hasn’t changed including the name is the reason I started all those years ago…. creating a safe, ethical space where people feel welcome, listened to and confident in their own skin.

💖Over the the years, I’ve had the privilege of meeting incredible people, sharing in their stories and watching confidence grow one treatment at a time.

💖To everyone who has walked through the green door whether that was the original shed or The Medi-Shed 2.0… thank you!!!

💖Thank you for your trust, your loyalty, your support and for embracing my slightly unconventional ideas.

💖Over the years, I’ve realised that people don’t just come to The Medi-Shed for treatments. They come for the chats. The laughs. The catch-ups. The life updates:))… Which probably explains why there’s a sign on the wall that says:

“It’s not a f Coman shed… it’s a bar.”🤪

😉To clarify, it isn’t a bar. Although after some of the stories I’ve heard over the years, perhaps it should be:))

💛Monday Motivation - Goood morning - where is summer?!💛

💛As much as I love an outfit of the day, I’ve learnt that the most important thing you wear is confidence and resilience.

💛Building a business ground up yourself has been one of the biggest confidence builders of all. It pushed me outside my comfort zone, taught me to trust my decisions and go with my gut, and reminded me that growth comes from showing up consistently, even when things very feel uncertain.

💛And unlike a good cardigan, it doesn’t just appear overnight like my obsessive Zara purchases🤪🤪

💛It’s built over years education, the setbacks, the financial risks, and the very long days. It’s forged in those moments when you question everything, including whether opening a beautiful clinic in an old grade 2 listed pharmacy building was a brilliant idea or a complete midlife crisis.😬😍🤪

🙏Thankfully, it turned out to be the former. The Medi-Shed is truly my pride and joy.☺️

💛Building a business has taught me that success rarely arrives looking glamorous. More often than not, it shows up disguised as hard work, resilience, problem-solving, and an inbox that somehow refills itself overnight. For many small businesses it’s HARD right now - especially in challenging economic times - so support your local businesses where possible💖

💛Every challenge has taught me something and every setback made me stronger (even thou it didn’t feel like it at the time) including a house demo😬

💛And every small step forward, no matter how insignificant it feels at the time, eventually becomes something you’re incredibly proud of.

💛So this Monday, wear the outfit. Drink the coffee. Chase the goal. Most importantly, remember that the person you’re becoming matters far more than the clothes you’re wearing.
