Dear clients,

You may have seen or heard some of the conversations online recently about changes happening within the nail industry, particularly around gel products and their ingredients. I wanted to take a moment to explain things clearly and honestly.

Due to new EU regulations (which the UK is also expected to follow in the coming years), certain ingredients that have commonly been used in gel products, such as TPO and HEMA, are being removed or reformulated by many brands. These changes are being made to meet updated safety and compliance standards across the industry.

When products are reformulated, it can sometimes take time for brands and nail technicians to adjust. Occasionally this may mean small differences in how products perform, such as retention, while new systems are being refined and improved.

I also want to acknowledge that I am fully aware of the comments and discussions circulating online about the brand I currently use. As a professional, this is something I take very seriously. I am currently trying to navigate the best way forward for my business and for you as my clients — whether that means potentially rebranding completely or possibly introducing and working with two brands to ensure I am offering the very best and safest options.

To be completely honest, this situation has caused me many sleepless nights because my business means so much to me, and so do my clients. I always want to make sure I am doing the right thing, using the best products, and providing the highest standard of service.

Please know that I am continuously educating myself, testing products, and making careful decisions with your nail health and long-lasting results as my absolute priority.
