Very exciting and unexpected events on a quiet trip to Birkenhead Park today. My client a nd I encountered a young seagull in distress, having become caught on fishing wire carelessly discarded by someone. Working together with two lovely park wardens, (them admittedly performing the rescue), said bird lives to see further adventures. A lovely visit to Royden Park. While accompanying a gentleman with dementia, something triggered a memory for him. So, with some gentle questions, we then went to the source of this memory and a lovely part of his past came flooding back. A very rewarding 2 hours.
