I know... they don't even look real! π·β¨
Trust me though, after approximately 2,568 attempts (give or take π
), we finally nailed it. And I'd say they were definitely worth the effort! π
Just a little note to let you all know that I'm taking some time away to be with my family and to be fully present with my children.
I'll be taking a break from now, and I'll be back to work from 17th August. Any messages or enquiries will be replied to when I return.
I also want to say a huge thank you to each and every one of you for choosing me to do your nails. Your support means the world to me, and I'm so grateful for every appointment, recommendation, kind words, chats and laughs βΊοΈ
I hope you all have a lovely couple of weeks, and I'll look forward to seeing you all from 17th August.
Thank you again,
Jay π€

The biggest reason nail techs are struggling right now isn't a lack of talent... it's rising costs. π
Every time the price of supplies goes up, your profit gets squeezed. And we've seen too many incredible nail techs walk away from the industry they love because it simply became too expensive.
At Boujee Birdy, we're changing that.
We believe luxury-quality tools shouldn't come with luxury price tags. That's why we focus on creating innovative, salon-quality essentials that help you work smarter while keeping more money in your business.
β¨ Here's one way to instantly increase your profits: Instead of constantly replacing poor-quality tools, invest in affordable products that are built to last. Every pound you save on supplies is more profit you keep.
Our best-selling Whirlwind E-File Bit is just Β£6.99 because we believe every nail tech deserves premium performance without the premium price.
We're not just another nail brandβwe're building a community that backs nail techs, supports small businesses, and believes your dream is worth protecting.

Before and After π©·
The salon is now closed until Monday so I can spend some quality time with my family. βΊοΈ
Please bear with me when booking your next appointments over the next few weeks as we're navigating the summer holidays alongside work. You may need to leave an extra week or two between appointments, so I'd recommend booking ahead where possible.
As always, I'm so grateful for each and every one of you. Thank you so much for your patience, understanding, and continued support.
Big love,

Close ups π
You can still see the texture of the skin, the cuticle area is not aggravated with my russian manicure technique, the gel is not on the skin and the hard gel is super thin, so it grows out flush with the natural nail, creating flawless nails π

π Today's Makeup Verdict
I've tested the e.l.f. Lip Stain Marker both as a full lip colour and as a lip liner.
The good news? Both lasted really well throughout the day and left a nice stain.
However, the scent is quite strong, and personally I don't love the colour when it's used all over my lips.
That's why I much prefer using it as a lip liner and pairing it with another lip product. For me, that's where it really shines.
βοΈ Long-lasting stain
βοΈ Great as a lip liner
β Strong scent
β Full lip colour isn't my favourite
π’ VERDICT: BUY IT (especially if you're looking for a long-lasting lip liner!)
Have you tried it? Let me know what I should test next! π
