Am I behind on social media? Yes, yes I am. But I am very much still here, open 5 days a week for piercings and sifting through messages, returning calls, listening to voicemails and ordering stock. It’s also been a week of coming to the rescue for SOS Piercing emergencies!

Talking of stock! New lines begin to arrive as of tomorrow and I’m expecting four more large orders of new jewellery lines arriving by the end of September.

✨Whitchurch, sit down - let’s chat;

After a long hard consideration of rights and wrongs, I’ve made the decision to change my working hours in Whitchurch.

I am a Mum before I am anything in this world and working 6 days weeks, is mentally and physically straining for myself, children and family. And one, I just can’t continue and I need to grab a little time to myself.

Because of this, I will now be working on Wednesdays 4pm-8pm. This will be available to be weekly should I have the demand. From my experience of Whitchurch, people love later evening appointments too.

My working day 10-2 in Shrewsbury on Wednesdays will not change. I will be doing the school run and then heading to my Whitchurch base to pierce 4pm-8pm.

This summer has been wonderful and Mondays were such a huge start to that every other week madness. I don’t doubt for a second that next summer, the demand will be just as busy and those Mondays will be back.

Ordering jewellery is a huge part of any Professional Body Piercers career, it’s one baseline of our businesses. I work across many wholesalers, albeit in the UK and across the world. I spend hours a week scrolling through websites and catalogues ordering and admiring. But, it isn’t just as simple as ordering pretty pieces. It’s keeping up with the next trend, it’s questioning whether that piece of jewellery will sell, guessing how big it will be when it arrives and whether that will limit the piercings it will be suitable for. Questioning whether seasonal attachments are worth stocking. Trends come and some trends never truly fly - for the past 3yrs I’ve seen Pearls try to come in and I’ve also seen them fail, every single year in my Clinics to make the big entrance that’s expected. Black and Gold holds a huge place in my heart, but, that hasn’t seen the big rush like I expected them to.

Jewellery is part of our income but we have to spend our income, to purchase what may be a piece of jewellery that never sells. And sometimes, we have to do a minimal order quality so we have attachments just sat waiting to be loved.

It’s knowing our clientele, and at the moment I know my Titanium Crystals, Zircon Titanium Crystals and 14ct Gold pieces are my clients favourites.

But, in the case of wanting something spikey, spooky, black, hammered or alternative - I also have lots for you!

❌Health comes first❌

I am closed today - Wednesday 9th.

It’s extremely rare for me to take a day off due to ill health but I have a trapped nerve in my back. Yesterday, I tried to persevere with it at work against advice but today, I really need to rest my back and safely take pain medication without being stood up all day.

I’m sorry for any inconvenience, all clients are aware and I am back open tomorrow from 10am.

Today, I’ll be catching up on admin and available for any questions or queries as well as personal jewellery orders for the likes of Junipurr ♥️

A trapped nerve won’t keep me down. I’ll bounce back up tomorrow ✌🏻

♥️A WEEK OF WALK INS!♥️

The kids are back at school, now is the time to spoil yourself! Whilst I’ve been piercings the children, the parents have been talking about getting that Tragus they’ve always dreamt of, a Conch they’ve been admiring or new jewellery for their Helix’s.

This beautiful client came in this week to have a tattoo with the wonderful Abbie Fletcher and whilst she was in the Clinic, she wanted to update some jewellery. Starting with her Medusa which wasn’t sitting correctly and entering the vermilion border of her lip which wasn’t the desired look. We updated this to a simple 4mm Crystal. She then fell in love with this Diamond Cut Ti Crystal which sits and compliments her existing Labret so delicately. Piercing and Jewellery goals ♥️

Some people just see the piercing or the jewellery, I see the story.

Piercings are so much more than just that, piercings are part of someone’s story and journey. This week has shown that, more than any other week of my career before. My beauty room this week alone has heard stories of happiness, sadness, addiction, death, unconditional love, escapism and mourning. But with each life experience, this week has ended with those individuals adding a new piercing as a symbol of their journey. Whether you’ve cried or we’ve cried together this week, you will always be remembered.

So, thank you for letting me become part of that with a special little sparkle.

✨Consent✨

We are only 3 days in to September and it’s already been a crazy one to remember. I’ve been fully booked every day since Monday, but today I had every intention to do Walk Ins as well as appointments. I even put the board out but I was that busy, I didn’t have any time to announce I was doing them 😂

But with that, I am so excited for my clients who are starting a new chapter of their lives with college and sixth form. And I’ve had so many come in during breaks and lunch times, however, I do not pierce under the age of 18 without parental consent. This includes ringing your parent for permission. A parent must be present at all times during your appointment.

Although you are legally allowed to sign your own consent form which is an exciting and liberating part of your piercing journey.

✨Good morning September!✨

Normality resumed yesterday with a fully booked day from 10-8pm in Whitchurch. And today I’ve come home to my Shrewsbury clinic with another jam packed day to end the summer holidays!

Tomorrow, most schools go back to school and start another year of adventures and learning with their friends. Mine are absolutely ready!

August has been incredible, beyond words to express how thankful I am to everyone who came along for a new piercing, new jewellery, needed fixing, needed self care and needed to vent. I’ve met so many incredible people and heard their life journeys.

September is going to be super exciting with new lines of 14ct Gold dropping in to the shop, like this beautiful curation of 14ct Tish Lyon jewellery featuring 14ct Yellow Gold Triple Marquise Hinge ring and the 14ct Yellow Gold Square Cut Threadless attachment.

September will also see a large new line of Zircon and Titanium jewellery arriving in time for the Christmas madness, with over 100 new attachments and rings on order ♥️

🧡I’m coming home today!🧡

Yes, I have completely neglected my social media a lot more than I planned. This summer has been honestly the most amazing summer I’ve had as a Professional Body Piercer which is coming to an end with a wonderful holiday and much needed escape to relax with my oldest children.

Memories have been made for a lifetime this summer!

I am back at work on Monday with Whitchurch never failing to show up and impress. I am completely fully booked on Monday from 10am-8pm 🫶

Tuesday, I am back in my own Clinic and can’t wait to be reunited with my girl Abbie Fletcher However, I am also fully booked to the brim for my first day back in Shrewsbury 🧡
Appointments available throughout the rest of the week with Saturday starting to get busy busy!
