Happy New Year!

I thought I would start 2026 by reintroducing myself:) My name is Holly of ‘Holly Edmonds Hair Artistry’ and I am so excited to be joining the amazing team!

I have a decade of experience working as an award winning bridal hair artist, before turning my attention to helping women of all ages gain hair confidence through a beautiful range of hair extension integration systems. I am here to help you by creating elegant fullness to your current hair as well as length if that’s your thing! I work with only the leading hair extension brands so you can be assured I will only be providing you the very best the industry has to offer.

I understand that how we feel about our hair is more than skin deep. It can affect us in all sorts of ways including how we show up in life. I offer a discrete, compassionate and woman centred service which is all about you being able to be your most authentic, vibrant self.

Well hello! Life has been gorgeously lifeing (of course not all plain sailing!) but here we are almost another year completed!

We have been house renovating amongst many other projects and experiences, all contributing to further understanding who we are and what authentically matters to us.

I have embraced my home village life and community bringing me the opportunity to step out of online life and back into the real world…wow what a feeling! I feel the most me I have feel to think ever! My coaching training has helped me endlessly in my quest to rediscover my truest self and my desires for my life. Thank you again to everyone who supported me with that chapter - you all sit very firmly in my thoughts.

What I discovered about myself over 2025, has only reaffirmed my passion for helping women feel their truest power and beauty both inside and out. So another chapter is coming…

No it is not bridal, but it does involve hair…I can’t wait to share with you this December!

I feel so honoured to be back on the ‘Bridal Stylist’ judging panel again this year! Thank you for inviting me to join in all the fun!

I love reading all your entries and seeing your beautiful creations. Being able to support the industry I LOVE so much and celebrate you and your passion is just such a joy.

I went through the process myself 3 times and it was an exceptionally big exciting goal to set myself. The growth that setting a big goal is just incredible as often our ‘happy’ is not on the other side of that goal, it’s the person we become during the process.

I would encourage you all to go for it and enter this year and see how the challenge changes you and what growth and reflection it brings!

10 Years Anniversary Photo Dump 🥂

At the end of August we had a big party to celebrate 10 years of marriage! No relationship is perfect but understanding how each others minds work, shared exciting goals and core values definitely makes things much easier!

We are currently renovating our house, bringing up our son and working hard on our individual careers and goals so life is BUSY. But one thing remains, it’s still much more fun doing life together 🥂

Today life got a little sweeter…

I don’t know that I will ever stop missing Flo like I currently do, however life is certainly sweeter with our new little fur baby!

After much searching we finally settled on this little cracker! She’s is a 10 week old Boston Terrier and we are in love 🤍

🌿 SAVE FOR YOUR ARTISTRY NOTES 🌿

Getting volume into your designs can sometimes seem like a challenge. I want to help make achieving root lift for your designs as easy as possible, so find my top tips just below to help you achieve voluminous, natural and beautiful looking bounce and shape for you and your brides:

🌿 Use a volumizing root spray on your brides damp or dry hair and blow dry through using a large round brush. My favourites right now are by and Raise The Root.
🌿Make sure you are lifting your arms and therefore the hair vertically whilst you do this so you are encouraging the roots to lift up. You can also work the hair on the top of the head towards to face so when it is swept back it is nice a full.
🌿Lightly crimp the roosts with a slim and shallow crimper to add a slight texture. This adds volume and can make the hair more malleable too.
🌿Use a volumizing powder at the root when back combing. I personally love Power Powder by as the lilac colour bends seamlessly into all hair colours and it’s super fine yet powerful!
🌿When back combing, use a fine toothed comb and aim for a precise and compact effect at the very root. Make sure you hold both the section of hair firmly and work in smaller sections. Stay away from fluffing the hair up by using loose tension and starting too far up the hair length.

I definitely think that taking the winter months to recuperate after a busy wedding season is important, however we still need an income as we unfortunately still have bills to pay (boo!)

I can not believe how quickly 2023 has gone but I am a better person for having met literally hundreds of women I never would have crossed paths of it wasn’t for my art.
