Landing here in the fleeting moment that is the newborn season of late, while taking a break from the online noisy world.

We welcomed our magical baby boy Indra Davidii Tailor earthside on March 14th.

I have felt so touched by each soul who has checked in or reached out during this time & wanted to pop a post up to give thanks & love!

Indra. 🤍✨The sacred initiation into motherhood is so far out, spiralling round in all of the mess & all of the magic.

I haven’t yet been able to quite find the right words to speak to my birth journey & all that the last 6 & a half weeks has been, so I won’t try & I won’t force. I will flow with this moment here & allow myself to be in the process.

The gratitude & the grief.
The becoming & the dismantling.
The tears of joy when we got there with breastfeeding & the tears in the shower when it all feels too much.
The knowing & the surrendering
The most natural feeling intuition in the world & the moments of questioning absolutely everything.
The tests & the triumphs.
The rise in oxytocin & the rise in cortisol.
The extra special moments when you instantly calm, all snuggled into me as I sing my ditty’s to you & the long hours in the middle of the night too, when then nothing seems to settle you.

The day my baby boy was birthed a new version of myself was birthed too.

Stepping over this threshold has called me back home, to myself & my family to new depths, in such a profound way. Called to give, guide & nourish with all of my being.

Here with no present capacity for giving my energy elsewhere. Knowing that all I need to be with right here in this moment, is my initiation into motherhood.

So here in the newborn bubble we are, soaking in every moment & every drop of this fleeting season.

My offerings will rebirth, rise & bloom when the time aligns & I feel truly ready. For now I flow & navigate all of the firsts, joys, tests & transformations of this new chapter for our family.

So much love folks & thanks to everyone who has checked in.

And to my village, sisters who have gathered around me, the ones who have truly heard & held me. I love & so appreciate you my circle.

When we flow & do not force, we gift ourselves permission to feel & to truly receive.

Here in late January on the cusp of Imbolc, may we embrace the sacred pause between what has been & what is becoming.

“Imbolc” translates to “in the belly of the Mother,” the seeds of spring are beginning to stir in the womb of Mother Earth.

This stirring energy feels sacred in a new way for me here, as February welcomes Imbolc & also the month our baby joins us earthside.

In the liminal space of Imbolc we have wise winters chill still on our back & the growing brightness of spring shining towards our face.

May the coming turn of the wheel be a reminder to allow a gentle unfurling for yourself, to have trust in the process & journey.

Be here, be present, embrace your own journey. 🤍

SACRED MOTHER BLESSING🌹

Yesterday in the Forest of Dean me & a special few sisters gathered in circle & ritual at my home, to honour my transformation into motherhood.

A mother blessing takes inspiration from the ‘Blessingway’ ancient spiritual ceremony performed by the Navajo people.

Reclaiming & remembering our powerful mother energies, forming deep tendrils for what care & support from our village truly means & reclaiming birth as the ancient magic that it is.

Remembering our roots, how ancient & important ceremonies such as these need not be forgotten in our modern society. May we reclaim the magic of matricentric community.

Held in the womb of our lineages, our red threads. sisterhood, community & ancient ritual. Supporting mummas to be during this sacred rite of passsge.

Oh what a gift to be held by dear sisters for a nourishing & nurturing mother blessing, celebrating both the woman that I have been & the woman that I am becoming.

To be held in truth & love like this was so special, the day & intentions set will be with me for a long time.

Magic truly ignites when we join together with intention, spirit, wild medicine & craft. As a facilitator & space holder myself it was so beautiful to be welcomed into, held & completely surrender myself within this space. Thank you to my amazing wild woman doula Emma's Antenatal for creating & holding us all.

(Oh & the alignment of being held during the dark moon void, on the precipice of the Capricorn (my sun sign) new moon.)!!

Gazing today at the altar that we created together with your gifted offerings. Knowing that this will be a pillar of strength for me, when I look upon it during labour in my home birthing space.

Feeling so grateful & blessed for the stories shared, guidance given, your gifted presents & your presence!

I am still landing from the woven intentions, wisdom
& nourishment that my sisters enveloped me in on this collective day together.

Landing.

Flowing.
Surrendering.
Forming.
From maiden to mother.
Finding my way with my sisters by my side.
