It’s been a foundation for cross-party cooperation and a signal to the world that the UK takes its responsibilities seriously.

Rolling it back now, as Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch has said she'd do if elected, would take us in the opposite direction to where people across the UK - and around the world - want to go: forward, together, towards a healthier, fairer, safer future.

This is about who we are as a country: people who look after one another, who care about our homes and communities, and who want leadership that protects our shared future.
