Sneaky Peek at Chester here . He’s off to a good start now but I keep getting interrupted by my little dog desperately attention seeking 😆 .

White/ grey fur is so different to work on than all the others as there are so many subtle shades and tones to figure out and actually almost none of this is even made with a real white . I think I used it on his eye lashes and the outer edge so far .
Anyway here we are so far ,hair by hair and nostalgically remembering how a bridle fits together 😀

Mercedes in pastel . My lovely boxer . I had the privilege of this gorgeous girl for 16 and a half years which is almost a record for a Boxer . She was such a good girl and real sweetheart 😊 She’s all framed and up on my wall and I have now made a start on a cracking pony I can’t wait to show you soon

Picking up the pieces today .

I am working on Miss Sadie’s this morning . She was a wonderful girl who helped me raise my sons . She never really grew as big as “ normal “ Boxer . People used to ask me is she a miniature Boxer ? She wasn’t of course she was just Unique in her own way . My faithful friend ❤️

Hello Friends .
Today I was utterly horrified to find I have had many requests for portraits and absolutely none of the messages came through to me I am mortified .This is going back years ! not only that but my Wix website had removed my Etsy link and added some weird link to note books ??.
I have pulled and shut down my website right now and I am going to pull down my Etsy shop too because of their high fees and the difficulty with not being able to combine postage or post to other countries .

All this time I thought maybe nobody wants my art ?maybe I am to expensive ?, Maybe its me ?

On top of all this I spent a year working on exhibition stuff and paid thousands for the framing and for the stand ready for the event of my life ! just for it to be cancelled because of covid , it was rebooked for the following year but then the Queen died and it clashed with her funeral day so the show was cancelled again , The International Art Expo company then refused to refund me for my stand which was all in around £850 . and they were very rude about it they offered me a laptop screen in Singapore show as a replacement which I obviously refused .

So to find people have been trying to message me all this time and I am not seeing any of it has broken my soul today .I always reply no matter what time of day it is !!

I am on the verge of giving up . I have already had the worst two years ever at home and now this .

I can only apologise and I have no idea why it has happened . I have paid wix fully on time and up to date for the extras like linking my Etsy shop and sending me messages from the contact page , all the links were correct and were working once !!
Technology is not my strong point !! but I am 100% Its nothing I have done .

Well hello 👋 I am officially back at my art desk!
After a long and difficult year or so I am pleased to announce my return. I couldn’t be more pleased to have had this delightful little face to draw .
This is Ellie , sadly she is no longer with us and may she rest in peace. I hope that my artwork of her can help bring some joyful memories and smiles to her lovely owner .
I was given various photos to work from and I could just tell she was a real sweetheart . It was so heartwarming to draw her as we had just lost our own dog the week before and I truly felt the loss . But what a way to cheer up by getting lost in those curly wavy ears .
Thank you for allowing me the honour of working on her .

I enjoyed drawing this girl because she reminds me so much of a pony I loaned when I was a kid. I imagine Tilly is just as sweet .I do love a grey .

Just finished a portrait of my friends (really sassy) bearded collie 'Raggy' .A belated Christmas present .This doggo has been tremendous emotional support for her owners over the past few years and deserves a sweet little tribute for all the love she has given ❤
