The Flower Power Company

I met Claire Rainford inside an online community, and the moment I heard her story I knew I had to bring her to you.
In just a couple of years she lost her dad, lost her mum to terminal cancer, moved back into her childhood home, and was handed her own cancer diagnosis on the first day of lockdown. She says it felt like drowning in life. What pulled her back was not force or hustle. It was nature. A garden. A wildflower patch. And out of that dark season came an audacious mission to grow one billion wildflowers around the world.
We talk about grief, control and surrender, menopause as a fresh start, and the little microdose of wellbeing anyone can plant on a windowsill. It is tender and hopeful and I think you will feel it in your chest.
New episode of The Comeback Show is live. Link in the comments.

I met through the and was immediately impressed with her professional way of doing business in a soul led way. We have both "done corporate" and are now seeking business on our own terms.

I am so delighted that Jenn agreed to join my One Billion Wildflower Mission as a Founding Member by planting 2 square meters of wildflower in Woodinville Washington USA because she "would love to help our pollinators survive and have always loved gardening and flowers. Plus Claire's story was moving."

Thanks so much Jenn and I hope the wildflowers bring you joy.

Thank you Godwin Godwin Anthony for pledging to grow 3 meters of wildflowers in Galgate, Lancashire! Flowers certainly know how to communicate joy so I can't wait to see the pictures.

Somewhere between the concrete and the traffic, there used to be wildflowers. 🌾
Not decades ago, recently. With them went the pollinators that depended on them. It may be audacious, but I believe that story can be rewritten, one patch at a time, by ordinary people choosing to grow something wild.
One billion wildflowers isn't just a number. It's a movement to bring life back. Would you like to be part of it?

Thank you for being a founding member of the One Billion Wildflower Mission. Your pledge to grow 100 square meters in France and our similar goals means so much to me!
