Wedding Tox ‘tweakments’ are more popular than ever.

So I thought I would pop together a post that explains my approach to treating the beautiful Bride, or indeed the Groom!

•Early consultation is key!
You will be SO busy in the lead up to the big day your treatments may easily get forgotten.
A thorough consultation can help distinguish the perfect treatment time line for you too.
Especially if you are someone that has peels, facials or Hen spa plans as some of these are contraindicated.

•Ideally- your wedding day tox shouldn’t be the first treatment you’ve ever had…
If you have the luxury of time then booking a treatment around 6 months before your pre-wedding procedure can be helpful.
This is just because individuals can have varying responses and outcomes to differing doses and brands of anti-wrinkle treatments so is always good to have an idea of what YOU might ‘need’…

•Choose a practitioner who knows your face!
That way you can skip point one… Going to a new injector before the one of the most fabulous days of your life is risky business.
Not the time to be a thrill seeker 😂

•Although results can be seen within 2 weeks of anti-wrinkle treatment, I find that it really does settle beautifully at around 4 weeks post administration. So I recommend leaving at least this time before...

•Anti-wrinkle treatment complications, although relatively uncommon can occur -SO if you are particularly anxious about this then having treatment around 3/4 months before the day will give time for treatments to ‘wear off’ should anything occur

•This is why it is even more important to book a medically trained professional equipped to deal with any potential complication- and treat this accordingly

•ALWAYS attend your follow up appointment so you can review whether you are wedding photo happy or whether a little top up is needed here and there to have you looking and more importantly FEELING your best.

She has had treatment with me before on multiple occasions, so I know her face well-and what dose is required ahead of her big day.

I always recommend that if planning anti-wrinkle treatment before a wedding then ideally it shouldn’t be your first dose.
If it is your first dose then timing of treatment is crucial, to manage expectations and your desired outcome.
