So excited for Brooklyn Bridge on Monday! It’s unlike any show I’ve been in before, but this character has been really wonderful to explore and have fun with. And the accent has been a challenge, but I’ve enjoyed working on it and learning a little Italian along the way! Would be amazing if you guys would watch the show on Monday night! ❤️ 📸: Gill Yue

After a suggestion from Katie Griffiths, I decided I was going to hop on the makeup emoji trend, and after deliberating for 20 minutes what emoji I should choose, I was getting progressively hungry and of course, that means I settled on the cookie emoji! I love the little dots and the colour brown is fabulous for my eyes. Hope you guys enjoy! I’m about to go have a few Maryland’s 🍪🍪🍪

Decided to do a dark look to really represent the January mood. I think that little glimmer of hope is the best way to look at things at the moment. Also, I added the freckles again because they’re cute and I like them 😂

Belle Delphine should watch out.....
I finally decided to try the ‘E-Girl’ style of liner and freckles, and I quite like it! It makes me look wayyyyyy edgier than I actually am, but it’s kind of cute. Need some more styles to try out soon, if anyone has any they’d like to see don’t hesitate to drop a message!

Good afternoon everyone! I bought a brand new palette by , and it is just glitter, glitter and more glitter. The palette itself is lovely, despite a bit of fallout, but that is expected with glitter shadow. I have also been playing around with photo editing after purchasing photoshop as well, and I’ve no idea how to use it! But I’ve managed to make these photos look awesome so I’m pretty happy. I’ll be doing more looks with this palette, so watch out!!

Tonight I would like to announce that I will be the hair and makeup artist on the Burnley Bard’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Townley Park next year! I am beyond excited to work with this amazing team, as well as design such amazing characters with limitless possibilities! I’ll be posting some of my trial looks/designs as we get closer to the show but I am so thankful to have been given this amazing opportunity Below is the message from the Burnley Bards:

Hello everyone!

The Burnley Bards would like to introduce our event that will be shown on the 23rd May 2021. We will be showing a theatrical performance of William Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'.

The show will be free of charge to attend, however we will have the option for you to donate at the end of the performance -
as we will be giving all proceeds to charity, in order to promote and support the arts within Burnley.

'A Midsummer Night's Dream' will be held at Towneley Park and we would love your support. In a time like this, The Burnley Bards would like to put on the performance to not only aid the arts, but to shine some light within the current pandemic.

A link to the website/bookings will be shared soon.

Please follow the page for regular updates,

We hope to see you there!

Be careful not to choke on your aspirations......

Of course, I could NOT do a Star Wars series without having the greatest villain of all time present, and with the news that Hayden Christiansen will be returning as Vader in the upcoming Obi Wan series, I just had to bring to life my own version of Darth Vader.
A favourite of both me and my dad, Darth Vader is simply iconic. Obviously I’m not a face painter, I wanted to make this look fancy, but how could I not want to experiment with the burn? I’m no SFX artist, I don’t have the money for that yet, but this was super fun to do, using glue, tissue paper and my own imagination.
Now I have to get this all off my face. Wish me luck!

Throwback! This time it’s Andy Newman’s version of ‘A Monster Calls’ in which I played said monster, otherwise known as the Ancient Yew Tree. This look was very earthy inspired (of course). I used a variety of dark brown and green shades on my face, as well as brown liner for the branches. I put dark brown powder in my hair and on my body to look like dirt, as well as adding prosthetics on my shoulder in the form of tissue paper 😂 I am credited with make up design on this show so the other actor’s makeup was based off of my design. I absolutely loved this show and cannot wait to do something like it again.

I am no jedi.....

So this look, and I’m not joking, was sooo difficult. I pray for you if you ever decide to use white eyeliner for anything. It took at least two hours to do and even now I’m still not that impressed. BUT! Ashoka Tano is my favourite Jedi, and to celebrate her *hopefully* being in this week’s Mandolorian, I thought I would attempt an Ashoka homage. I hope you enjoy!
