M𝐲 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲- H𝐨𝐰 I 𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐥𝐞𝐝 MASKNE.

I have very sensitive acne prone skin.
I started breaking out badly around my cheeks, mouth and chin after the quarantine period.
This was due to prolong wear of the nose mask (Maskne).

Wearing the mask can impose heat and friction on the skin and when combined with moist environment from breathing , talking or sweating can cause breakouts .

I had to change my skincare routine completely as well as use cotton nose masks instead of the clinical nose masks.

Also , I changed my pillow cases twice in a week (silk pillowcases are better ).
I used paper towels to clean my face instead of towels.

My holy grail products used were;

1. COSRX 𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐩H 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐫
which has a very low pH which contains TEA TREE OIL (controls oil and tightens my pores) , BHA - Betaine Salicylate (great exfoliater) as well as hydrating ingredients which soften the skin

I use the P𝐚𝐮𝐥𝐚’𝐬 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞 BHA 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐝 once in a week (follow it up with a sunscreen).
