Don't conform to the patterns.

"And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].” ‭‭ROMANS‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭AMP

There is a certain way that things are done in this world and there is also the way of the kingdom of God. Isaiah 55:8-9 makes us know that our ways are honestly not His ways.

We normally align ourselves with fear while God stands by faith, we yearn for vengeance He talks about forgiveness and love, we want to have everything in this life but He says seek His kingdom first.

Many people are getting hurt because we are confirming to the standards of the world. Preachers are competing, church members are destroying each other, lots of gossip and back stabbing, we don't pray for one another anymore, pride and arrogance has taken over our heads and self seeking actions have flooded our hearts.

We allow material things to determine our happiness. If we are to change anything about us, it must be our minds and the direction of our hearts. Don't beat yourself up over what you don't have and be grateful for what you have. Let's seek first the kingdom of God and it's Righteousness and all other things shall be added.

Don't be like anyone but be who God made you to be and become what He created you for. We don't have all the time so let's start getting rid of anything that takes our hearts and minds from God. Don't conform to the patterns and the ideals of this world. Pray for yourself, your family, your community ,your nation and most of all your neighbor you may not even know. Decide to be a change agent.

Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, please help me break the code of conformity to the standards of the world.
