GAMLS-GAR EXECUTIVES VISIT LABORATORY FACILITIES IN THE REGION

As part of efforts to strengthen the relationship between the Regional Executives and the esteemed laboratory professionals we represent, the Ghana Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists – Greater Accra Region (GAMLS-GAR) executives visited the laboratory departments of Korle Bu Teaching Hospital and the 37 Military Hospital.

During these visits, the leadership commended members for their dedication and unwavering support for the association. They also encouraged members to continue their commitment to professional excellence and unity within the fraternity.

Additionally, members highlighted various challenges affecting their work. The executives acknowledged these concerns and assured members of their commitment to addressing them within their capacity.

As a key outcome of this facility visitation, the laboratory professionals at the 37 Military Hospital have now been integrated into the association’s official WhatsApp platform. Plans are also in place to add personnel from other security services, including the Ghana Police Service, as well as civil servants. Members are therefore encouraged to continue upholding professionalism and decorum in all engagements on the platform.

In the coming weeks, the executives will extend similar visits to other laboratory facilities across the region.

Thank you.

Laboratory Regards,
Eric Arthur
Regional Secretary
