THE LETTER I NEVER SENT.
Episode 10(the end)
A few days later, Amaka sat alone in her room.
The same room.
The same table.
The same wooden box.

But this time, she wasn't crying.
She took out the old letter she had written years ago.
She read it again.
“Dear Daniel…”
She smiled through her tears.
That letter had carried years of pain.
But now she didn't need it anymore.

Daniel entered the room.
“Are you okay?”
Amaka nodded.
“Yes.”
She looked at the letter.
“I spent so many years thinking you abandoned me.”
Daniel sat beside her.
“I never stopped caring about you.”
Amaka smiled.
“I know that now.”
She folded the letter carefully.
Then she placed it back inside the box.
Daniel looked at her.
“You're not going to send it?”
Amaka shook her head.
“No.”
“Why?”
She smiled.

“Because the person I wanted to explain everything to is sitting right here.”
Daniel smiled.
Amaka looked out the window.
For the first time in years, her heart felt peaceful.
Her father had returned.
The truth was finally known.

And the secret that had followed her for years was finally gone.
She closed the wooden box.
Some letters are never sent.
Some words are never spoken.
But sometimes…
the truth finds its way home.
❤️ THE END
