Yesterday Hon. Haruna Iddrisu had an honour and privilege to join President John Dramani Mahama to grace the 10th anniversary celebration of African Higher Education Centre of Excellence.

This truly is a decade of impact, innovation and excellence.

This celebration marks a decade of excellence in many of Africa’s universities. We celebrate the initial challenges and successes as well as the scholars and researchers who have gone on to do exploits, the beneficiaries who have been touched, the farmers, communities and people whose lives have been touched by these great efforts.

To our partners—the World Bank, the French Development Agency, IRD, AAU and IUCE, thank you for your unwavering commitment and partnership.

Together, we have set a strong foundation and together, we will continue to build a vibrant, resilient, and future-ready African higher education ecosystem.

MoE Inaugurates Committee to Reverse SHS/SHSTS Double-Track System

The Minister for Education Hon. Haruna Iddrisu has inaugurated a Committee to develop a roadmap for transitioning Senior High Schools and Senior High Technical Schools from the double-track system back to a single-track system.

The Committee, chaired by Prof. Peter Grant of the University of Cape Coast (UCC), includes representatives from the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), the Ghana Education Service (GES), and other key stakeholders in the education sector. Their mandate is to assess the current system, consult widely, and propose practical solutions that will ensure a smooth transition without compromising access and quality.

Speaking at the inauguration, the Hon. Minister for Education emphasized the government’s commitment to improving the education sector, ensuring that all students receive uninterrupted learning opportunities.

The Ministry looks forward to the committee’s recommendations and remains committed to implementing policies that enhance quality education for all Ghanaian students.

And I did all this with Senio high school certificate. I just graduated from the university last year from Tamale Technical university. So my dear brothers and sisters currently I’m working with over 50 people in my own event house ( Carlos entertainment). This event house has organized high profile events such as The national Rice fair in walewale, the Sod cutting for the building of Naa Gbewa palace, big political events, coparate events, weddings, festivals. Activations and many more. So my dear friends let’s not Rush in getting what we want and pray for the right time. Today the Name dj Carlos is household name in the north . Which gave birth to many young industry players . I just feel like telling you a bit about me and later come with my journey in the media landscape. Dj Carlos is married to a beautiful and understanding wife (Rashida) and four (4)beautiful and brilliant girls . Mutia, shamsia, shawkia and Fathia. Alhamdulliah from the start to now .
