What Is Diabetes?
------------------------

Diabetes mellitus refers to a group of diseases that affect how the human body uses blood sugar (glucose). Glucose is vital to your health because it's an important source of energy for the cells that make up your muscles and tissues. It's also the brain's main source of fuel.

The underlying cause of diabetes varies by type. But, no types of diabetes, it can lead to excess sugar in the blood. Too much sugar in the blood can lead to serious health problems.

Chronic diabetes conditions include type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes.

Potentially reversible diabetes conditions include prediabetes — when blood sugar levels are higher than normal, but not high enough to be classified as diabetes — and gestational diabetes, which occurs during pregnancy but may resolve after the baby is delivered.

Diabetes symptoms vary depending on how much the blood sugar is elevated. Some people, especially those with prediabetes or type 2 diabetes, may not experience symptoms initially. In type 1 diabetes, symptoms tend to come on quickly and be more severe.

Some of the signs and symptoms of type 1 and type 2 diabetes are:

✅Increased thirst.
✅Frequent urination.
✅Extreme hunger.
✅Unexplained weight loss.
✅Presence of ketones in the urine (ketones are a byproduct of the breakdown of muscle and fat that happens when there's not enough available insulin).
✅Fatigue.
✅Irritability.
✅Blurred vision.
✅Slow-healing sores.
✅Frequent infections, such as gums or skin infections and vaginal infections.

How Cellgevity Attacks the Root Cause of Diabetes

According to recent medical research findings, one thing that is common to most diabetic patients is that they have low levels of Glutathione.

Apart from food, water and oxygen, Glutathione is the next essential molecule that you need to stay alive and healthy, yet only very few people know about it. Medical scientists describe it as the body's master antioxidant and the ultimate cell protector.

Cellgevity also works to lower inflammation ensuring the cells are producing higher levels of glutathione

WHY NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENTS?

If you always take rich fruits and vegetables, get enough sleep, get adequate sunlight with enough water, your body shouldn't need a nutritional supplement, right?Yes.

But there is no such world. I learned that from my lifestyle and I think yours speaks some facts too.

Quoting Dr Mark Hyman,MD. "I also thought that if you ate “enriched food” like white flour with a few vitamins added back in, or milk with vitamin D added in, additional vitamin supplementation was a waste."

Now you know you weren't the only one thinking like that. But I have carefully highlighted ten reasons why such a world doesn't exist.

1. Depletion of Soil nutrients.

In many parts of the world, farmlands are over-farmed and over-grazed. In most cases, enough manures and rich mineral products are not put back into the ground. And this has depleted the soil quality.

This produces foods that are low in quality minerals, vitamins and other hundreds of nutrients found in food.

2. The use of Modern fertilizers.

Many years ago, manures were basically used as fertilizers . But today, super phosphate is largely used and this does not supply enough trace minerals.

Super-phosphate fertilizers often stimulate growth. Containing mainly nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus with little trace minerals. And this contributes to soil depletion and crop minerals.

Our crops are now big, like someone on steroids and tasteless.

3. Modern use of Chemical Pesticides and Herbicides.

When these chemicals are used, they damage soil microorganisms. And these microorganisms provide minerals and other nutrients for the plants.

When they are damaged they stop functioning. And in turn affects the nutrient content of the foods.

These pesticides pe*****te into the plants and we consume them daily. Thus our bodies need extra nutrients to flush these residues out. And this severely tax the body daily, reducing nutritional status.

These deadly chemicals sometimes contain arsenic, lead and other toxic metals that gradually accumulate in the body. And in time cause a lot of damages in the body. About one million deaths and chronic diseases are recorded world-wide from pesticide use per year.

4. High-yield farming methods.

High-yield methods of farming reduce the level of trace minerals in crops. Hybrid crops are crops that have been genetically manipulated to yield more crops per acre. And are lower in nutrients than those grown over a hundred years ago.

For instance, ten times as much rice or wheat are grown on the same farmland compared to a hundred years ago. Today's wheat has about six percent protein compared to twelve to fourteen percent hundred years ago. Due to lands that were not stoked with ten times as much minerals, vitamins and other nutrients.

5. Long-distance transportation destroys Nutritional content.

Nowadays, many of these foods are planted thousands of miles away from the population centers and required to be shipped. Once they are harvested, certain nutrients like vitamin B-complex and vitamin C begin to diminish. And these foods may take weeks or even months before getting to you.

In fact, most of our exotic fruits are shipped from Asia, South America and China. And most of them are irradiated, sprayed and processed for them to survive the long distance. Some may even grow mouldy and you wouldn't know.

6.Food processing drastically reduces the nutritional content of foods.

Foods like wheat, dairy products, rice, and sugarcane are affected by this. For instance, the refining of sugar cane to make white sugar removes ninety three percent of its chromium and ninety nine percent of its magnesium. Polishing rice removes seventy five percent of its chromium and zinc.

Similarly, refining wheat to make white flour removes seventy to eighty percent of its zinc,eighty percent of its magnesium, eighty eight percent of its manganese, eighty seven percent of its chromium and fifty percent of its cobalt. Imagine what is left after cooking?Hmmmm.

Heating milk and cooling it fast to destroy bacteria, which ends up destroying the taste and some nutrients. It reduces the bioavailability of phosphorus, calcium and some proteins in it.
Addition of food additives often diminish nutritional content.

There are thousands of additives added to our foods today. Ranging from artificial flavours and colours to sweetners. Flavour enhancers like MSG, emulsifiers and many more.

Few are harmless and often serve as preservatives. While many are toxic and depletes the nutritional content of the food. Among the worst ones are BHT and BHA, EDTA and artificial sweeteners like Aspartame.

EDTA is used to preserve the colour of some frozen vegetables. It removes the vital minerals on the surface to prevent mineral oxidation. Oxidation changes the colour to dark and it looks ugly.

8. Increasing level of environmental pollution and use of pharmaceutical drugs.

Green environment is becoming obsolete. The toxins in our foods, water and air, cause our bodies to demand for more nutrients for removal of these harmful substances. More need for antioxidants like vitamin A,C and E.
Nowadays, pharmaceutical drug intake is like water taken after food. Most deplete important nutrients from the body, making it more vulnerable to deficiencies.

9. Poor eating habits and weak digestion prevents nutrient absorption.

The eating of poor quality foods like hybridized foods, refined foods and handling of chemicals in foods has left most digestive systems weak today. Many have low digestive enzymes secretion, intestinal infection like yeast, imbalance flora and low vitality.
This prevents nutrients absorption by the body and leads to further nutritional needs.
Also insufficient eating of food, erratic eating habits, stress and eating on the run, all contribute to poor digestion.

10. Stressful lifestyle make use of more nutrients.

Stress is overworking the body. And when it's over worked it will need more nutrients for recovery. Minerals like magnesium, calcium, chromium, zinc, manganese and many others, begin to drop within minutes of stress. Stress contributes to major deficiencies, acute and chronic disease around the world.
Another form of stress is medical procedures like surgeries and X-rays. X-rays deplete Zinc and B-complex. surgeries add more drugs to the body and cause stress.

Conclusion

During child pregnancy, nutrients are transferred from the mother to the child. That means the child can only get what's available in the mother's body. And most mothers are subject to these ten reasons mentioned above.

In other words, the majority of people need extra nutrient supplementation right from birth. The food we eat no longer contains much nutrients needed for optimal health.

But these nutritional supplements are well processed. And preserved naturally for optimal absorption by the body. Most of the new ones like Max products are well micronized. It by-passes the digestive system, and goes straight to the cells for ninety nine percent absorption rate.

Yet, the best foods are the ones freshly harvested or killed and quickly eaten.

So if you want to bullet proof yourself, supplementation is a great way to start. You from your foods.

DAILY HEALTH TIPS
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Feed Your Gut Bacteria
The bacteria in your gut, collectively called the gut microbiota, are incredibly important for overall health.
A disruption in gut bacteria is linked to some chronic diseases, including obesity and a myriad of digestive problems
Good ways to improve gut health include eating probiotic foods like yogurt and sauerkraut, taking probiotic supplements — when indicated — and eating plenty of fiber. Notably, fiber serves as a prebiotic, or a food source for your gut bacteria.
EAT A HEALTHY DIET
Eat a combination of different foods, including fruit, vegetables, legumes, nuts and whole grains. Adults should eat at least five portions (400g) of fruit and vegetables per day. You can improve your intake of fruits and vegetables by always including veggies in your meal; eating fresh fruit and vegetables as snacks; eating a variety of fruits and vegetables; and eating them in season. By eating healthy, you will reduce your risk of malnutrition and noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) such as diabetes, heart disease, stroke and cancer.
