As we approach this contest, I call on all party members, especially the youth, to exercise calm and decorum in our quest to market our candidates. The NPP is bigger than any individual, and how we conduct ourselves now will determine the strength of our party going into the next election.

Let us remember that this is an internal affair meant to determine our leadership. It must be conducted in an atmosphere of unity, respect, and sportsmanship. We may have different preferences, but we share one common goal: victory for the party. Let ideas, not insults, guide our campaign.

After sober reflection and extensive consultation with members of the party across the region, I have taken a decision that I believe serves the best interest of our great party.

I wish to officially declare my support for Dodoo Sadat as our next Upper West Regional Youth Organizer of the NPP. This endorsement comes after careful consideration of the qualities needed to lead our youth wing at this critical time.

Dodoo Sadat comes into this contest with proven experience. He served diligently as a former Deputy Regional Youth Organizer, and has twice contested for the position of Regional Youth Organizer. His commitment and persistence over the years are a testament to his love for the party and the youth.

Let me state clearly that this decision is not motivated by personal interest. It is borne out of my commitment to the party, and to the principles that have kept us strong: competence, integrity, and experience. These are the values our youth need in a leader today.

The challenges ahead require a leader who can unite, mobilize, and inspire. I am convinced that Dodoo Sadat possesses these qualities and the capacity to deliver results for the party and for the youth of our region.

I shall therefore avail myself fully to support his campaign. I call on all well-meaning party members to join me in this effort so that together we can secure victory and build a stronger future for our party.
