Thank you for taking the time to write this down 🙏 Newborn skin is thin, its outer layer is still developing, and a Hong Kong summer is humid and heavy. Cradle cap, plus redness around the face, neck and skin folds, can leave parents feeling helpless. When you say the cradle cap improved a lot, we understand that quiet relief.

Why bath oil is especially gentle for newborn skin:

🛁 Bath water strips sebum. A newborn's lipid barrier is not yet mature. Regular bubble baths and soaps can wash away what little oil the skin has, leaving it drier and quicker to redden. Adding bath oil to the water lets the oils disperse and then settle lightly on the skin, helping to hold moisture in and reduce water loss through the skin.
