Thank you for traveling to Tuscany, Georgia, Armenia and Tanzania with us this September! πŸŒπŸ’œ

And the adventures are not slowing down! This October, we have over 190 women traveling with us around the world! 🀯

Meg is in Australia with one of our groups, and Mar is busy scouting new destinations and experiences for future tours!

We are incredibly grateful to every single one of you who chooses to travel with us. Whether it is your first SFT trip or your fifth, thank you for trusting us with your adventures and for being part of our wonderful community of women.

And as always a HUGE thank you to our local guides, hosts and all the women who make these experiences possible.

Women are often the ones welcoming travelers around the world, and so much of what they earn goes back into supporting their families and poured into communities. Yet their voices and contributions are still too often overlooked in tourism. It’s time to change that!

This week on the Solo Female Travelers Podcast, Mar chats with Alessandra, founder of Women in Travel CIC, a social enterprise creating employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for women from diverse backgrounds through its FREE Tour Guiding Academy.

We have already partnered with them on our Scotland tour, where our guests meet a Ukrainian guide sharing the connections between Kyiv and Edinburgh and a Deaf guide highlighting the often-overlooked stories of Deaf women in Scotland.

And now we are bringing this collaboration to LONDON! πŸ’•

On πŸ’₯31 OctoberπŸ’₯, Mar and Alessandra will be hosting TWO exclusive experiences for our Solo Female Travelers community, led by women who have graduated from the Academy. You can explore Ethiopian food, discover Arabian culture (including trying your hand at belly dancing) and learn about London’s fascinating history through its food, all while connecting with the women who call the city home.

And the best part? 20–25% of what you spend on these tours goes back into funding training for more women to become guides!

We would LOVE for you to meet us both in London and join one of the tours! Both experiences have limited spots, so head to the link in our bio to book yours.

Also the full Episode 28 is out now on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube and wherever you listen to podcasts.

If you enjoy the episode, please leave us a review on Apple Podcasts, rate us on Spotify or share your thoughts in the comments. It really helps more women find our podcast!

Before you pack your thongs for Australia, we need to clear something up. πŸ˜‚πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

In case you didn’t know, Australians have a few words that mean VERY different things elsewhere. Thankfully, Meg is here to translate! 🩴

In episode 27 of the Solo Female Travelers Podcast, Mar and Meg talk about everything you need to know before visiting Australia, from planning your itinerary and choosing the β€œright” time to go, dangers (or not) of wildlife, costs, packing tips, and a few very important Australian expressions. πŸ˜‰

Episode 27 of the Solo Female Travelers Podcast How to Plan a Trip to Australia is out now wherever you listen to podcasts, and you can watch us on YouTube too.

If you enjoyed the episode, please leave us a review on Apple Podcasts, rate us on Spotify, or drop a comment and let us know what you thought. Every review and comment helps more women find the show. πŸ’—
