A few years ago, I dreamed of having a successful business. I dreamed of being fully booked, teaching students, traveling, creating financial freedom, and building a life on my own terms.

Now, I’m living so many of those goals & somehow it’s easy to move the goalposts and convince ourselves it’s still not enough.

The truth is, growth is amazing. Ambition is powerful. But if we’re constantly focused on what’s next, we miss the fact that we’re already standing in places we once only imagined.

So this is your reminder (and mine):

٠࣪⭑ Be grateful for the problems that come with the goals you’ve achieved
٠࣪⭑ And don’t forget to acknowledge how far you’ve come.

Because one day, you’ll look back and realize this version of your life was once the goal 🤍

The things that genuinely changed my business for the better ↓

• I stopped giving mates rates
Because if I wanted people to respect my business, I had to respect it first. Very quickly you learn that clients can become friends quicker than friends will become clients. If you’re friends only want to support you for a discounted service they’re not your real friends

• I chose not to sound “perfect” or overly professional
I use to always try to fit the mould of what a beauty business owner “should” look and sound like online and in the salon. I became more honest, more open, more myself & that’s when bookings kept coming and clients kept returning.

People connect with people, not robots.

• I’m always on my phone replying to clients & students
Not because I “have no boundaries” I do have boundaries when needed..but because I care deeply about the experience people have with me and my brand if I notification pops up and I have a moment - I’m replying
