Thus, Journey Surf was founded – a place for the fearless pioneers who wander the globe searching for their place of belonging. During this time, a girl lived in a concrete jungle in an opposite corner of the world, dancing along a hedge of extremes – dabbling in this and that, but never quite finding a reason to stay in one place very long. Being an “experience junkie” , she set off on her Journey in search of something she never tried before. After series of twists and turns, of stumbles and falls, of dusting herself off and trekking along again; she fell upon the mystical island of Bali. When each of us look back on our individual journeys, there is that one moment of sheer serendipity. The unexpected occurs and you find your life has happily shifted its course and, after this moment, life will never ever be quite the same as it was before…. For her, it was the fateful meeting in Bali with a brilliant shaper of a small company called Journey Surf. Together they found in each other what they never knew but suspected was missing all along. There is indeed truth that we don’t know what we have until it is lost. But the opposite also applies: we don’t know what we are missing until we find it.
