For the 2025 Volleyball Nations League, Özbay was named in Turkey's roster under head coach Daniele Santarelli, sharing setter duties with Elif Şahin. Türkiye opened their VNL 2025 campaign in Beijing, facing France, Thailand, Poland, and host China.
