The Balinese have a similar turmeric drink that they call a medicinal drink or jamu.

Jamu has turmeric, ginger, lime juice, black pepper, honey and filtered water.

Magic t has turmeric, ginger, lemon juice, black pepper, honey, apple cider vinegar and cayenne.

Since we don’t add water, magic t is more potent. But our customers add it to water, coconut milk, juice, etc.

It feels super powerful to me that I created this recipe 10 years having no idea that an ancient recipe so similar has been used as medicine on this “island of the gods”.
