Seb ‘n Bella had a blast at GreenCamp and can’t wait to join again next summer. They actually went in July but are still talking and reminiscing about the camp. GreenCamp is located at Green school and teaches kids about sustainability in agriculture and so much more … like river jumping, yoga, climbing coconut trees and team building. Need a break and feel zen, or want a great yogatastic workout then head on over to Ubud Yoga House. This studio is quite hidden but definitely worth finding. The walk up is just beautiful. Pass by wonderful local art shops and residences surrounded by luscious greenery, afterwhich you walk through a small path straight through the paddy fields, to find this gem of a boutique yoga studio. Both the hubstar and myself joined a morning practise – and we both loved it; very eat-love-pray [for the movie buffs amongst us].

An afternoon family stroll to La Favela turned out to be a huge success. We had a great time lounging around the colourful sofas and wandering to the different beautifully decorated seating areas around and within the restaurant. Walking through the garden towards the beach is like being in a gypsy floaty fairy tale. La Favela is located at Jalan Laksamana Oberoi, Seminyak.

This mama, desperatedly needed a hairdresser and also wanted to feel pampered [doesn’t everybody once a while], so headed out to Rob Peetoom Hair Spa Bali in Seminyak. They were quite busy that day, preparing for a show – so it was a great way to also people [read: tall gorgeous models] watch while having your treatment. Prices are steeper than the average hairdresser, but I walked out with fabulous hair.

It was Seb’s turn to choose where to go for dinner and this time around he chose People’s because he loves the threehouse vibe of the restaurant. And what a great choice. We were there early and had a fun family evening out, showing the kids how to play pool and taking in the great atmosphere of the restaurant. So – if you fancy a relaxed evening with a wide variety of food, drinks and cocktails – then head on out to People's Bar and Restaurant at Jalan Batu Bolong.

Feeling adventurous and want to feel close to nature with the kids, then check out Bali Safari and Marina Park for a wonderful fun filled day with the family. The park has several shows and it was great pretending to be a ranger for a day.
