2nd place 🥈 at Professional Beauty & Hair Show Creative Front Cover Makeup Competition in the RDS yesterday… still processing it tbh

This look has been months in the making — handmade resin bodice, iridescent organza skirt and a shell to frame and tie the look altogether, a full underwater fantasy brought to life 🌊

I wanted the makeup to mirror the fabric… blues, lilacs, shimmer, and that glistening “sun hitting the ocean” effect ✨

A little nod to Botticelli’s Birth of Venus, but with a twist, a goddess born from an underwater realm 🐚

So proud of how this came together 🤍

MAC Samhain Week Three – Ghosts & Ghouls Glam 🥀🪦🧄

For this week’s look, I took inspiration from the story of Irish vampire legend Dearg Due — a story I’d never actually heard of until now. Move over Edward Cullen…🩸

Ireland has no shortage of chilling folklore, but the tale of Dearg Due — also known as the Red Thirst, Red Lady, or Red Bloodsucker — is one of the most haunting. She rises from her grave seeking revenge. She is said to be a hauntingly beautiful figure, who lures young men to their deaths. She drinks their blood, and this act, or the pain she inflicts, sustains her. 

A mix of beauty, danger, and vengeance — the perfect combo for MAC Samhain 💋

The banshee — a haunting messenger of death, often seen as an old woman with long silver hair, cloaked in darkness, crying or combing her tresses.

Let’s just say… I wouldn’t want to meet me on a cold winter’s night 🪦☠️⚰️
