Daughters of Flowers is an ode to the simple beauty of plants, a love letter honouring slow and traditional processes. A grassroots botanical studio dedicated to creating nourishing herbal offerings in small batches, each step guided and tended to by our hands. We also offer carefully curated homewares and botanica from our favourite places, treasured sources and beloved makers.
Currently reading The Enchanted April by Elizabeth von Arnim which I’m really enjoying so I thought I would share with you, along with some other spring favourites. I’m always so happy to find a classic book that I haven’t heard of as I tend to re read a lot and it’s such a treat to open something new.
Take an old blanket and a basket with honeyed tea and your favourite book and sit for a little while beneath a blossoming tree 🤍

Nearly ten years ago I started this little business, and somehow it still feels like yesterday. It’s moved through many seasons, but over the last few years, especially since becoming a mother, I’ve felt pulled in too many directions trying to keep everything afloat.
What’s become clear is that I need a simpler, slower way of working.
I’m not entirely sure what this will look like yet, perhaps a small cabin in the garden as a still room, or simply a quiet corner of our house. But I do know that for the next few years, I need to make my world a little smaller.
For now, rather than maintaining a full-time online shop, I’m letting Daughters of Flowers take on a gentler form, one that better supports my family life and creative rhythm. I’m hoping to return to the way it was whenI first started ~ working slowly from home, growing and harvesting from the garden, and creating small-batch botanical skincare and haircare from scratch.
Instead of a shop that needs daily tending, I’m hoping to offer occasional, thoughtfully prepared drops every few months.
I know this is a big shift, and I’m asking you to change how you shop with me. I truly hope it can work for you as well as it will for my little family. I’ll always give plenty of notice before each drop and share the journey with you along the way. For now, I’m closing the studio, which means everything is 30% off until the shelves are cleared.
