I just realised we never introduced ourselves here. So here we go….

Over the years I have struggled to find decent products in Ireland where we live, to care for and nurture their beautiful curly hair, hence how mixedracehair.com was born.
The website is still in progress so bear with us. We hope that when it is ready, it will provide more useful content and the best products from around the globe to care for our mixed race and curly hair.

❓What detangling hair brush do you use?

Flyaways are a real thing with our mixed race curly hair.
Those small hairs that stick out from the rest of their hair, instead of falling flat.

The girls didn’t mind them much when they were small but as they get more grown up, they’re interested in products to help improve their hair style.
We’ve been using this hair gel by to tame those flyaways

We used products on the girls hair for many many years.
It’s a decent entry point product. One of the more easily accessible and affordable brands for mixed race hair.

However, we are excited to try other brands for mixed race and curly hair, and will report back to you here
