I have always been honest with my clients and they know they mean the world to me, their health and safety is my first and foremost priority but not because of covid because im a responsible well trained hairdresser i was carful before covid, which is why since opening in June I have had ZERO covid cases or scares in the salon, I have yet to see one single document where hairdressing was a major link to a cluster of cases theres been nothing on social media, nothing on the news and nothing in the grape vine and trust me hairdressers hear about everything when it happens in another salon, to say I'm disgusted would be an understatement I don't think I should have to close i dont think other salons should have to close we are literally paid to wash our hands 🤣 it really really bothers me that we haven't stood up for ourselves the gyms did during the 6 week lock down and I know eventually they were made close but they shook cages and when the 3rd lockdown came around guess who's aloud stay open....the gyms! So take a page from their book and fight it 💪

COLOUR 🎨
I'm getting a lot of colour upkeep
questions lately especially with the lockdown and how long people had to leave between colours and doing home colours and now trying to correct them,so I made this handy little list, i know it can be hard to remember when you should be rebooking so hopefully this helps,

Other factors in colouring
-your natural base and your chosen shade
-hard water in your area, hard water can cause brassines, green hair and breakage and dull colour ,another severe reaction is colour can react to certain water very badly and cause a chemical reaction that cause hair to go dark or smoke
-your haircare routine at home
-if its a colour correction or change, it may take a few sessions
-the porosity of your hair
-and if you left a long time between colours, it may take you a few sessions to get back to your colour

Other factors to consider are if you do not upkeep high maintenance colours ie, pastel colours,silver and platinum, it may not always be possible to get back to what you were originally, a handy tip for these colours are inbetween salon visits buy pigmented shampoos and conditioners 💖

My first wedding up do since all of this began and it was emotional im not gonna lie, I had to postpone my wedding with no end to this in sight so I really do feel your pain 💔
But no matter what you chose wether it was to cancel,postpone ( again and again) a small ceremony or a really quick elopement , enjoy every moment of it even if its not exactly what you planned people always say " oh if I could do it again " we got that chance to do it again so let's have all our days no matter how many it takes ❤
