Today at our cookery course in Glenasmole Community Centre we made homemade beef burgers, homemade 🥔 potato wedges and side salad 🥗

€35 euros for 12 dinner portions works out at about €2.92 per portion which is excellent for homemade food. A simple homemade burger dinner like these could easily cost €15 plus per person In a restaurant or takeaway.

What a wonderful day! Huge thanks to everyone who helped us Celebrate the Bealtaine Festival today in Glenasmole Community Centre . A very special thanks to Mary from Glenasmole Farm for her fantastic wool spinning workshop - it was such a lovely experience for all who took part. Week 4 of our cookery course we made beetroot, almond and yogurt salad 🥗, broccoli, feta, hazelnut and cherry tomato salad 🥦🍅, and 3 seed low fat coleslaw 🥬🌻. They were all delicious 😋, healthy 💚, colourful 🌈 and full of flavour. The total cost was only €24 for 10 people 💶, which made it excellent value at just €2.40 per person. This week showed that healthy, fresh food can be affordable, tasty and enjoyable for everyone 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳.
