What is lymphatic Drainage! It works to drain tissue fluid, transport fat, Mai rain blood pressure, it also helps to transport immune cells throughout the body. This is a very light superficial touch, not to be mixed up with Swedish massage or deep tissue. It stimulates and opens the lymphatic ducts and then drains the excess fluid to them to relieve build up of toxins, fluid or swelling. There are contra indications to getting this treatment, so you will need to chat with me before going for this massage. Great for post cosmetic surgery where there is swelling around the scar site, swollen legs & ankles, sinus & migraines, fibromyalgia (not in a flair up) arthritis (not in a flair up) bloating or extreme fatigue. It is for all skin types, your skin can be oily and dehydrated. With the adverse temperature conditions we expose our skin to in the winter, most Irish skin ends up being dehydrated. When your skin is dehydrated, depending on your skin condition it can cause sensitive skin, red and raised dry patches on the skin or it can produce more oil and the skin will break out with spots. This is a fantastic product as it doesn’t introduce more oil into the skin, just moisture. It holds 6 times it’s own molecular size in water. It is a topical filler for the skin to plump up dehydrated skin. Apply before your moisturizer or add it to your serum then apply your spf, depending on your skin care goals.

Dehydrated skin, on the other hand is a lack of water, not oil. So you can actually have an oily complexion but still have dehydrated skin.
