Hey guys please bear in mind that i’ve moved over to a new business page called Glow & Go for my new salon in Kilkee Co.Clare

Please bare in mind that I am as bipolar as f**k as we all know 🤣🤣

And part of my illness is manic decisions with no rational thinking 🙈🙈 So with that being said I did not open the salon with any savings or forward thinking, nor did I open a Salon with Daddy’s money or a drug dealer boyfriend, I was also too impatient to wait for the start your own business grants that i’ve now screwed myself out of….. so…… it’s basically a working progress…..

Heard people say “that salon makes me laugh”

But i’m proud of me, because at 18 with a newborn baby when all my friends were off at college, I was left behind all alone, bored & if not slightly jealous of my friends lifestyle, but mostly bored & depressed, having always worked & been in school, I soon realised being a stay at home mum at 19 was not the life for me so I signed upto a FAS beauty therapy course

Due to mental health issues that I never had before the baby it took me a further 3 years to finally complete the course & qualify

13 years later I have finally got my dream to open a salon bk home & bring my kids home from the city, all while being heavily pregnant.

And while it may not be anything great to look at right now, trust that it will be soon.

We have lots of exciting things coming to the salon.

This Thursday I will be starting an aesthetics course in the brilliant training company Faces on Faces in Northern Ireland, & the minute I land home I will be staring an educators course in Limerick

So not only will I be able to start offering Lip fillers, anti wrinkle injections ect, I will also be able to offer 1-1 training accredited courses in waxing, spraytans, lash lifts, brow lamination shellac, ect.

Slowly but surely I will get where I need to be in life.

And now that Darcy has started big school in Doonbeg I will be available in the salon 5 days a week & during school hours which I know many of my clients badly needed.

Thankyou all for your custom over the last 13 years, from my humble beauty room from home, to renting a beauty room in a salon, to owning my own salon. We got there in the end.

Hopefully in a few years time I can tell you this page & your custom helped me to buy my very own home for my kids so that there’s no more staying in b&b’s while trying to find suitable long term accommodation
