We’re hiring.

As Sauna Social continues to grow, we’re looking for a Shift Supervisor to join our team in Waterford.

This is a 20-30 hour per week role, primarily based around evenings and weekends, and would suit someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in their work, and is comfortable taking responsibility.

As a Shift Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the facility, helping to deliver an exceptional customer experience while maintaining the high standards that Sauna Social has become known for.

The role includes opening and closing shifts, customer care, water testing and daily operational checks, maintaining facility standards, and leading the team on shift.

We’re looking for someone reliable, organised, trustworthy and confident, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Previous experience in hospitality, leisure, fitness, retail or customer service is an advantage, but not essential.

That’s exactly why we opened Mondays.

Not everybody can make an evening session.
Not everybody gets Saturdays and Sundays off.

Sometimes the best reset of the week happens when the rest of the world is back at work.

So instead of tackling another list of jobs, answering more emails, or spending the afternoon hoovering the stairs, maybe give yourself an hour.

Every Monday we’re open from 12pm to 10pm, with our off-peak Monday rate of just €15 per session.

Sauna. Cold plunge. Hot tub.

Time to reset before the week takes over.

And if Mondays continue to grow, we’ll look at opening even earlier.

A couple of weeks ago we done a little community check-in and asked one simple question:

“What’s been your favourite Sauna Social moment so far?”

Honestly, reading through the replies stopped us in our tracks a little.

When we first started Sauna Social, obviously the idea centred around sauna and cold plunge. The physical side of it. The health benefits. The reset.

But somewhere along the way, it became something more.

A place people come to slow down for an hour.
To clear their head.
To catch up with friends.
To sit in silence.
To meet people they’d never normally cross paths with.
To watch a parent try something new.
To switch off from work, phones and stress for 50 minutes.

Some of the replies were funny, some emotional, some really simple, but together they painted a picture of what this space has actually become.

And truthfully, that means a lot to us.

We’re incredibly grateful to everybody who’s walked through the gates, supported us, brought a friend, shared a post, recommended us or simply made the place what it is.
