A Bride-to-Be Crowning Ceremony is a beautiful holistic rite of passage that honours a woman as she transitions from one chapter of life into another. Rather than focusing on the wedding itself, it celebrates the bride’s personal journey, wisdom, self-love and the sacred commitment she is making.

The “crowning” symbolises stepping into her sovereignty as queen of her own life and heart. It can be a deeply spiritual, feminine and nurturing experience shared with close family and friends.

A ceremony might include:

* Opening Sacred Space – Lighting a candle, calling in the 7 directions or the elements, or offering a blessing.
* Guided Meditation – Helping the bride connect with her intuition and the love she is preparing to receive and give.
* Anointing Ritual – Using essential oils such as rose, jasmine or frankincense on the forehead, heart and hands.
* Crowning – Placing a flower crown, crystal crown or handmade wreath upon the bride’s head while speaking words of blessing and empowerment.
* Blessings Circle – Guests offer heartfelt wishes, affirmations, poems or memories.
* Hand Blessing – The bride’s hands are blessed in preparation for creating a loving home and partnership.
* Rose or Cacao Ceremony – Sharing ceremonial cacao or offering rose petals as symbols of love and an open heart.
* Sound Healing – Crystal singing bowls, Himalayan bowls, chimes or drum create a deeply relaxing atmosphere and help the bride integrate the experience.
* Journalling or Letter Writing – The bride writes a letter to her future self or to her partner.
* Closing Ritual – Gratitude, music, song or a final blessing.

I created Holistic Hen offerings as it’s something I would like for my Hen and my friends ∞♡

Holistic Hens can be designed & created with you and in a venue of you’re choosing, be that at home or in a wellness space, hotel or outdoors in nature ∞♡

What is a Holistic Hen?

It’s a ceremony & sacred gathering with your friends, women , mothers etc .

The intention is to bless the bride with goodwill, love & prayer before her big day !

The day is a mixture of sacred fused with fun and may include the following :

We are delighted to welcome Hope Cancer Support Centre CLG to Wells House & Gardens for their Summer Solstice Walk & Ceremony of Healing & Light on Sunday, 21st June at 7.30pm.

As the longest day of the year draws to a close, guests are invited to gather in the beautiful surroundings of our estate for an evening of reflection, hope and togetherness. The event will include a gentle walk through nature and a special circle of light, offering an opportunity to pause, connect and celebrate the strength of community.

This meaningful event takes place on the same day as our annual Classic Car Show, making it a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a full day at Wells House & Gardens before returning for an evening of calm and reflection.

Everyone is welcome to attend and support the incredible work of The Hope Cancer Support Centre. We look forward to hosting this special occasion!
