MATCHA LATTE DRINKS… ARE THEY ACTUALLY HEALTHY? 🍵

Matcha itself can be a fantastic addition to your diet.

It’s rich in antioxidants, contains L-theanine for calm focus, and can provide a steadier energy boost than coffee.

But here’s the catch…

Not all matcha drinks are created equal.

Many ready-to-drink versions contain:
❌ Added sugars
❌ Sweeteners
❌ Flavourings
❌ Very little actual matcha

Some are closer to a flavoured milkshake than a traditional matcha tea.

Before you buy, flip the can over and check:

✔ How much matcha is actually in it?
✔ What’s on the ingredients list?
✔ Is sugar one of the first ingredients?
✔ Are you buying matcha… or a green-coloured dessert?

These beauties are packed with sweet potato, chickpeas, spinach, onion, herbs, spices and plenty of flavour. Crispy on the outside, soft in the middle, and so satisfying you won’t miss the meat.

✨ Roll them into burger bites for lunchboxes or snacks
✨ Batch cook and freeze for busy days
✨ Family-friendly and budget-friendly

Matcha really watched us take a 1,000-year-old wellness ritual and turn it into a neon green milkshake with 47 pumps of syrup and candy clouds on top. 😭🍵

What the hell… the monks did not meditate on mountains for this.

Matcha is meant to support calm energy, focus, antioxidants and balance.
Not send you into orbit with enough sugar to power a toddler’s birthday party.

We’re out here calling it “wellness” because it’s green… while drinking dessert in activewear. 💚

Can we please stop traumatising healthy foods? 😂
