אני כמעט ולא מוצאת את הזמן להעלות פוסטים. תמיד היה עוד משהו שהיה לי יותר דחוף לעשות, לסיים את התפירה בתיק שעמלתי עליו, לסיים שזירה של חרוזים על עוד צמיד עור. ואז המציאות השתנתה ברגע.
בליל שלישי שעבר, טרוריסטים רשעים העלו באש את הסטודיו שלי. לא נשאר ממנו דבר. המקום אליו צעדתי ברגל מביתי בעיר העתיקה בשמחה ובבטחה. שם עשיתי עבודות יד מעור, שם פגשתי מדי יום בחיוך אנשים שבאו לבקר בעכו, שכנים וחברים. שבוע שלם עבר מאז התהפך העולם עליי ועל כולנו.
I hardly ever found the time for posts. There was always something more urgent to do, finish the stitching on a bag I was working on, complete the beading on a bracelet.
In a moment that reality changed. Last Tuesday night, evil terrorists set my studio on fire. There's nothing left of it. The place I walked to happily and safely from my home in the old city. The place where I made handcrafted leather goods. The place where I welcomed with a smile people who came to experience the Old City of Akko, neighbors and friends. An entire week has gone by since the world has come undone.
