At Ramani Aromatics & Herbals, we believe that it is our bounden duty (Dharma) to protect our environment, and that Mother Nature and Dharma protect those who protect them, as enunciated in the statement above. Therefore, in order to mitigate the enormous waste generated daily from FMCG products, we strictly use completely biodegradable/ compostable/ reusable/ easily recyclable packaging materials, carefully selected with regard to their suitability for each product.
• The cling film used is made of natural polymer derived from corn starch and other agricultural waste, and is therefore compostable.
• The flip-top bottles used for lotion, hair oil, shampoo and other liquid products are also made from such polymer from agricultural waste, and are compostable/ reusable.
• The outer cartons for all the products are made from cardboard, which is of course rapidly biodegradable.
• Other products such as creams, pastes or balms are packaged in glass jars.
• For any other products in powder form, tin containers or tissue bags are used.
• For labels also, there is no plastic lamination, just plain paper with the printed matter. This is our commitment to our beautiful planet, our Mother Earth, who gives us everything for a comfortable life. Let us all come together to make our Mother comfortable too, instead of burdening Her the way we are doing now.
