पंच केदार: भगवान शिव के पाँच पवित्र धाम

भगवान शिव की आस्था, भक्ति और हिमालय के अद्भुत संगम का प्रतीक हैं पंच केदार। ये पाँच पवित्र स्थल हैं जहां भगवान शिव के विभिन्न अंगों की पूजा की जाती है।

1. केदारनाथ: भगवान शिव के पीठ (कुबड़) की पूजा स्थली, 12 ज्योतिर्लिंगों में से एक, मंदाकिनी नदी के किनारे स्थित।

2. तुंगनाथ: भगवान शिव की भुजाओं की पूजा स्थली, दुनिया का सबसे ऊँचा शिव मंदिर, चंद्रशिला शिखर के पास स्थित।

3. रुद्रनाथ: भगवान शिव के मुख की पूजा स्थली, घने जंगलों और घास के मैदानों के बीच स्थित, प्राकृतिक गुफानुमा मंदिर।

4. मध्यमहेश्वर: भगवान शिव की नाभि की पूजा स्थली, हिमालय की सुंदर चोटियों से घिरा, शांत और दिव्य वातावरण।

5. कल्पेश्वर: भगवान शिव की जटाओं की पूजा स्थली, पूरे साल खुला रहने वाला मंदिर, उर्गम घाटी में स्थित।

पंच केदार की कथा के अनुसार, महाभारत युद्ध के बाद पांडव अपने पापों के प्रायश्चित के लिए भगवान शिव को खोज रहे थे। शिवजी बैल का रूप लेकर छिप गए। बाद में उनके शरीर के अलग-अलग भाग पाँच स्थानों पर प्रकट हुए, जिन्हें आज पंच केदार कहा जाता है।

यात्रा का सबसे अच्छा समय मई से अक्टूबर तक है, जब ट्रेकिंग और दर्शन दोनों का अद्भुत अनुभव प्राप्त किया जा सकता है।
