دھاروں کا سفر اور ٹرائبل برادری کے مسائل
چند دن قبل مجھے اونچی اونچی پہاڑی دھاروں کا سفر کرنے کا موقع ملا، جہاں جا کر اندازہ ہوا کہ گوجر بکروال اور دیگر ٹرائبل خاندان کن سخت مشکلات کا سامنا کرتے ہیں۔ ان دشوار گزار راستوں پر سفر کرنا آسان نہیں۔ کہیں تیز بہتے ندی نالوں کو پار کرنا پڑتا ہے، کہیں بارش کے دوران درختوں کے نیچے پناہ لینی پڑتی ہے، جبکہ ہر وقت حادثات اور جنگلی جانوروں کا خوف بھی موجود رہتا ہے۔گرمیوں کے موسم میں گوجر بکروال برادری اپنے مویشیوں کے ساتھ اونچی پہاڑیوں اور چراگاہوں کی طرف ہجرت کرتی ہے تاکہ جانوروں کے لیے بہتر چارہ دستیاب ہو سکے۔ مگر افسوس کہ آج بھی یہ لوگ بنیادی سہولیات سے محروم ہیں۔ نہ مناسب سڑکیں موجود ہیں، نہ رات کے وقت روشنی کا انتظام، اور نہ ہی جانوروں کے علاج اور بروقت ویکسینیشن کی مکمل سہولت دستیاب ہے۔وقت کی سرکار، محکمہ قبائلی امور اور متعلقہ اداروں سے گزارش ہے کہ ان دور دراز علاقوں کی طرف خصوصی توجہ دی جائے۔ دھاروں تک سڑکوں کی تعمیر، سولر لائٹس کی فراہمی، موبائل ویٹرنری سہولیات اور جانوروں کی بروقت ویکسینیشن کو یقینی بنایا جائے تاکہ ٹرائبل برادری کی مشکلات میں کمی آ سکے۔یہ لوگ ہماری ثقافت، معیشت اور روایات کا اہم حصہ ہیں۔ ان کی فلاح و بہبود اور بنیادی سہولیات کی فراہمی حکومت کی اولین ترجیح ہونی چاہیے تاکہ وہ بھی بہتر اور محفوظ زندگی گزار

Tribal Communities in High Mountain Pastures Deserve Better Facilities
A few days ago, I had the opportunity to visit the high mountain pastures (Dhars), where I witnessed firsthand the hardships faced by tribal communities, especially the Gujjar and Bakarwal families. Their journey to these remote grazing grounds is filled with challenges. They often have to cross fast-flowing streams and rivers, travel on dangerous mountain tracks, and take shelter under trees during heavy rainfall. The constant fear of accidents, harsh weather, and wild animals makes life in these areas extremely difficult.
During the summer months, Gujjar and Bakarwal families migrate with their livestock to the high-altitude pastures in search of better grazing land. Despite their vital contribution to the rural economy and livestock sector, they continue to live without many basic facilities. Roads are either poor or non-existent, access to veterinary services is limited, and there is a lack of proper lighting and communication facilities in these remote regions.
I sincerely appeal to the Government and the Tribal Affairs Department to pay special attention to these areas. The construction of roads, provision of solar lights, regular veterinary camps, and timely vaccination of livestock are essential for improving the lives of tribal communities and protecting their animals.
These communities are an important part of our heritage and culture. Ensuring basic infrastructure and essential services in the mountain pastures is not just a necessity but a responsibility. Their struggles deserve recognition, and their needs should be addressed on priority.
