Find joy in the mess!!! 😃
This disease is playing tug of war with my body. Some days it pulls me down, but on days when I feel symptomatically better, I cherish every moment. My family’s joy when they see me smiling or moving with ease is priceless. It’s like we all win together in that tug of war. Their laughter, their relief, and their encouragement remind me that healing is not just physical, but emotional too. In this reel, I share how it feels when symptoms of my current progressive Sjogren’s Disease ease; even if just for a while.
Living with Sjögren’s or any chronic illness means limitations, frustrations, and moments of sadness. Yet, I’ve learned that focusing on the present is the best medicine. Whether it’s talking to loved ones, reminiscing about happy times, playing with toys (like Candy the bear or Mars the dino), dressing up, doing makeup, reading, upskiling or simply enjoying a call with friends. These little acts of joy keep me motivated. They may seem small, but they bring light into the long tunnel of illness.
My tip for anyone living with autoimmune, chronic, or terminal diseases: don’t spiral into “what ifs.” Instead, embrace the now. Laugh, play, meditate, and celebrate the tiniest victories. Seek support, ask for help, and never feel ashamed of needing care. Every smile, every laugh, every shared moment is proof that you are stronger than your diseases!!
✨ Joy in the present is the victory that keeps hope alive. All the best!!

When Sjögren’s tries to dim my light, I choose to smile brighter. My strength shines brighter than any diagnosis. 🌟
After being discharged from hospital, I’m now recuperating at home, supported by a team of specialists. With no solid diagnosis yet (because research and academic studies are scarce) the doctors have given a probable diagnosis of early NPH and ganglionopathy, along with low cortisol levels.
I’m on multiple prescription drugs and still waiting for further tests, because in autoimmune diseases the window for reversible damage is small. This journey is not easy. The patients often face co-morbid conditions that make daily life difficult. That’s why it’s so important to seek emotional support from family and friends, and to entrust your care to doctors who believe in you and don’t dismiss your symptoms.
My purpose in sharing is simple: to remind anyone living with chronic or debilitating illness that you are not alone. Keep trying, keep speaking up, and keep learning about your condition from reliable sources. There will be moments when your willpower wins, and you’ll feel better. I have hope that I will get stronger with time; and so should you.
Your fight may be invisible, but your strength paints the brightest colours in life!! 🌸

A diagnosis identifies a patient’s health issue. Achieving an accurate diagnosis often requires patients and healthcare teams to work together through a complex — and sometimes lengthy — process.
When diagnoses are delayed, incorrect or missed, the consequences can be serious, leading to prolonged illness, disability or even death.
On Thursday’s World Patient Safety Day, the World Health Organization (WHO) shares practical tips to help you get the right diagnosis:
✅ Share your medical history
✅ Ask questions
✅ Follow up on test results
✅ Track appointments & treatments
✅ Seek a second opinion when needed
Even in the darkest hospital room, hope lights the way
Sometimes life with Sjögren’s feels like a battle you never signed up for. A sudden flare pushed me into emergency, three days in ICU, and two more under observation. My body was shutting down - ape-like gait, bent spine, drooping head, involuntary muscle spasms, and exhaustion so deep I couldn’t walk unassisted. For days I asked myself: how could I forget walking?
The answer was Ganglionopathy and rare brain changes caused by this invasive autoimmune disease. Most doctors had only read about it in theory, never seen it in practice. My case has became an experiment, with a team of neurologists, rheumatologists, endocrinologists, ophthalmologists, psychologists, psychiatrists, physiotherapists, and radiologists working together to find answers.
It was traumatic, but I didn’t lose hope. My family, friends, and online community kept my spirit alive when ICU loneliness hit hardest. I share this not for sympathy, but to highlight the reality of rare autoimmune conditions —where research is scarce and patients are often the pioneers. My wish is for more research, better data, and treatments that are affordable and less invasive. If you or your loved ones live with autoimmune disease, don’t ignore symptoms. Seek a good rheumatologist, hold on to hope, and live unapologetically because every good day is worth celebrating.
Your fight is unique, but you are never alone.

We often talk about painting the town red, but when you’re living with an autoimmune disease like
Sjögren’s, it feels more like painting with your own colours. 🎨 each shade representing a different symptom, a different struggle, and a different fight.
Many doctors still see Sjögren’s as just a “sicca” disease affecting the exocrine glands. But the truth is, it’s far more complex. Like other autoimmune conditions, it can overlap across organ systems, showing up differently in every patient. At the time of recording this, my condition was worsening at home, yet I refuse to let that silence my voice.
As a friend reminded me- I’m a baddie, and I don’t give up easily. 😁 I’ll keep fighting, keep sharing, and keep educating about how layered and misunderstood Sjögren’s really is. My motto moving forward: “Strength in every shade, hope in every fight.”

Autoimmune diseases can feel lonely 😞 let’s talk about it.
Living with Sjögren’s disease is complicated, and no two journeys look the same. For many of us, the changes happen quietly inside our bodies, often unnoticed by those around us. That’s why it can feel isolating because the struggle isn’t always visible on the outside.
In the early stages or slow progression, symptoms may not be obvious, but they still affect daily life in big ways. This is where empathy, compassion, and understanding from family and friends make all the difference. Medical supervision and ongoing research also play a huge role in helping us manage and adapt.
If you or someone you love is dealing with an autoimmune condition, know that you’re not alone. Sharing experiences, talking openly, and supporting each other can make the journey lighter. As someone living with Sjögren’s, I’m opening up about my own path so we can learn from one another and build a space of connection and support.

Have you ever learned the reason behind complex scientific concepts in such a fun and interesting manner?
Don’t you think CurioBuddy is doing a good job in making science accessible and easy for kids?
Why Do We See the Northern Lights?
🌈✨ “I wonder why the sky glows in magical colours at the poles?”
Well, it’s time to find out in this month’s I Wonder Why! 💫
🧲 The Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) and Southern Lights (Aurora Australis) occur when:
• 🌞 Solar winds from the Sun hit Earth’s magnetic field,
• 🌍 They interact with gases in our atmosphere,
• 💡 That creates shimmering lights in green, purple, and pink!
This cosmic light show is science in motion—showing how solar activity + atmosphere = glowing skies!

I never knew fighting with my siblings was a way to hone relationship-building skill!!! 😄
👧🏻👦🏻“MOOOOOOM! He took my toy again!”
Sounds familiar? Parenting can often feel like being a referee in a never-ending sibling wrestling match.
But here's the secret: those fights can be TEACHABLE MOMENTS. 🧠
✨ This month’s mindful parenting tip:
“Let your children first learn how to get along with people older or younger within the family.” 💡
Why? Because negotiating with siblings teaches conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, problem-solving, and relationship-building—skills that are critical for school, friendships, careers, and community life.
💬 Instead of stepping in immediately, try guiding them with responses like:
“Hitting won’t help. What’s another way you could solve this?”
or
“Let’s talk it out. How do you think your sibling feels?”
🌟 Help your child become future-ready—not just academically, but emotionally too.

💥 August 6, 1945 – a date that changed science and humanity forever.
The atomic bomb, ironically named "Little Boy", was the first nuclear weapon ever used in war, dropped on Hiroshima. It wasn't little at all—it caused immense destruction and claimed over 140,000 lives by the end of that year. This tragic event not only reshaped world history but also made us question the ethical use of scientific discoveries.
At CurioBuddy, we believe in expanding our understanding of complex scientific concepts—whether that’s nuclear energy, genetics, or the science behind everyday phenomena. Our STEM magazine, The Qurious Atom, turns “I wonder why” questions into explorations—encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and awareness of real-world applications in science.
🧠 It’s more than just general knowledge—it’s about shaping informed future leaders. Perfect for homeschooling, brain development, and quality education beyond textbooks.
🎯 No ads, no distractions—just fun and accessible learning through DIY experiments, interactive activities, and science facts that matter.
