Experiencing FolkTea Festival 2024

It was a last minute decision to experience the FolkTea Festival 2024, an extraordinary event that celebrated the rich tapestry of Assam's tea culture. Held at the picturesque Hatipoti Tea Estate in Biswanath Chariali, it was a journey through time, a celebration of heritage, and a glimpse into the future of tea and also promote our startUp IndiMeat.
A Cult Cultural Extravaganza of Tea Gardens: Beyond the intellectual discourse, the festival offered a vibrant cultural experience. The stage was set ablaze with mesmerizing performances of traditional c**k fight, folk dances, including the graceful Jhumur.
Live tea-making demonstration by Jingle Doulagapu showcasing the elaborate tea ceremony and offering insight into the traditional and creative process The festival also showcased the diverse heritage of Assam. From the fiery flavors of the region's indigenous cuisine to the delicate artistry of tea pairing, there was something to tantalize every palate.
The tea tastings were conducted by experienced tea sommeliers, who guided us through the intricate nuances of each brew. I learned about the different tea-making processes, the impact of terroir on flavor, and the art of tea pairing.
A Memorable Experience: The Folk Tea Festival 2024 was a truly unforgettable experience. It was a celebration of Assam's rich cultural heritage, a showcase of the state's tea industry, and a platform for innovation and sustainability followed by the unforgettable musical ceremony.
Alongside the Folk Tea Festival, we also got an opportunity to promote our IndiMeat products and the overwhelming response boost our energy to work unceasingly.
As I left the festival, I couldn't help but feel a sense of renewed appreciation for this humble beverage. Tea is more than just a drink; it is a 200 years of our tea culture, a social lubricant, and a source of comfort. The Folk Tea Festival reminded me of the power of tea to bring people together and create lasting memories.
