Legendary singer Asha Bhosle, whose voice defined generations, died at 92 on 12 April, 2026.
Her son, Anand Bhosle, confirmed the news, saying, “She is no more. Her last rites will be held at 4 pm tomorrow at Shivaji Park in Mumbai.”
Asha Bhosle was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on Saturday, 11 April. Her granddaughter, Zanai Bhosle, wrote on X that the veteran singer had been hospitalised following “extreme exhaustion and a chest infection.”
