The social commitment of C.M.I. religious congregation coupled with the ardent desire of the people of Kurianad and around, resulted in the birth of this great institution. This institution is dedicated to St. Anne, the mother of Virgin Mary. Anne's has become a great centre of learning and pride of Kurianad by the pioneering efforts of the dignitaries like Dr. J. Thekkumkal C.M.I., Fr. Joseph Mangalam C.M.I., Fr. Augustine Thengumpally, Fr. Richard C.M.I., Sri. Augusthy, and Sri. Thomas. The then managers, Headmasters, Principals, Teachers and non-teaching faculty added their own significant contributions towards our endeavour to perfection. It becomes a part of St. Joseph's province's corporate agency in 1992. The beginning of the parallel English Medium Section and the establishment of the Higher Secondary Section in the year 2000 are a hallmark in the growth of this institution. This institution has been in the path of glorious journey towards excellence. It has been able to retain the history of cent percent result, initiated by the first S.S.L.C. Batch in 1985. The Higher Secondary Section has also come in the same track with high scores and distinctions and with cent percent result from the year 2002 onwards. This enhances beauty and grandeur to the greatness of this institution.
