Tribes of India
Tribes of India- This page is dedicated to the group of indigenous people, who are still mysterious, untouched by the existence of the contemporary world
This page is devoted to little known tribal groups who make up certain 'categories' of groups for easy governance but theirs is a unique way of life in every sense. Most of it is made exotic, and also on the other hand undocumented. Here we present some pictures of them - in their everyday lives. We dedicated it to the group of indigenous people who are still mysterious, untouched by the existence of the contemporary world. With more than 84.4 million such people, India has the largest population of the tribal people in the world. But here we will give emphasis to the tribes who are rarely known, The well known adivasi's are the poorest in the country, who are still dependent on haunting , agriculture and fishing. Some of the lesser known tribal groups in India include Mayors, Apatanis, Monpas, Idu Misimis, Jansaris, Khamtis and bagania. But here we concern on lesser knows who are untouched, unknown as tribal people and they have their own unique culture, tradition, language and lifestyle. This enables you to know many unknown cultures of India.

They call it the city of liberation, but Kashi’s truest freedom is found in its ability to hold the entire universe’s contradictions in a single street. This visual anthology is an exploration of a city that lives between the ticking clock and eternity. It is a tribute to the unseen souls—the weavers of silk and the dreamers of dust—who anchor this ancient cosmos

Defending the green horizons. ⛰️🍃
A changing planet needs unchanging commitment. This World Ranger Day, this glimpse of a lonely patrol route in Arunachal Pradesh reminds us of the massive scale of a ranger's responsibility.
As "Guardians of a Changing Planet," they don't just protect trees; they stabilize the ecosystems that give us clean air, water, and climate resilience. Let's support the global push to empower, train, and protect our forest forces. 🌏✨

Passing down the legend of the Elder Brother. 🗺️👶
Look closely at the roots of conservation. In the bamboo-and-thatch homes of Arunachal Pradesh, children grow up listening to the sacred laws of Iyu-ena—the customary belief system of the Idu Mishmi people. The most sacred rule? Protect the tiger, for he is your brother.
International Tiger Day 2026 reminds us that securing the future of wild tigers requires putting local and indigenous communities at the very center of our efforts. By supporting their rights and safeguarding their ancestral forests, we ensure that the next generation continues to walk in harmony with their striped siblings. 🐯💚

Sabbe saṅkhārā aniccā. ("All conditioned things are impermanent.")
☸️Carved from volcanic basalt (1st C. BCE – 6th C. CE), Mumbai’s Kondivite (Mahakali) Caves masterfully transition from austere Hinayana to expressive Mahayana design.
Architectural Secrets:Cave 9: A rare, circular Chaitya prayer hall mimicking India's earliest 3rd-century BCE rock-cut structures.
Pali Epigraph: A Brahmi inscription proving a Brahmin gifted this Buddhist sanctuary, showmcasing ancient harmony.Visual Dhamma: Weathered reliefs of Buddha in Dhammachakra Mudra. The stone's erosion beautifully mirrors Anicca (impermanence).
