Oiling isn't just "put oil on hair, wait, wash." Most of us have been doing at least one part of it wrong.

Apply to dry hair, not freshly washed, oil needs to reach the scalp, not sit on top of product buildup.

Massage, don't rub. Slow, circular pressure with your fingertips actually helps the oil absorb and gets blood moving to the scalp.

Give it time. 30-60 minutes minimum, overnight if you can. Washing it out in 5 minutes defeats the purpose.
