Here’s what most people don’t know — most rose waters sold in India aren’t actually rose water. They’re fragranced water with preservatives.
A real rose hydrosol comes from steam-distilling fresh rose petals — the Kannauj method, centuries old.
The active compound is phenethyl alcohol. It calms inflammation at the skin’s surface. The redness, the irritation, the flare-up — it doesn’t treat the cause, it calms the response.
Mist after cleansing. Or mix with multani mitti when your skin feels angry.

Most of us are using face oils wrong.
Not because we’re careless — because nobody told us. We treat oil like moisturizer, dab a few drops on dry skin, rub it in, hope for glow.
